This video proves that "police" is a complicated thing: yes, there are many people in these departments that are either corrupt or violent criminals. Yet, there are also many people in these departments that chose to be a police officer in order to do good. This woman is a clear example of the latter, while the dangerous criminal she arrested and his "allies" are, unfortunately, an obvious example of the former.

Every single cop on the planet needs to have this woman's attitude. Cops 'look after their own'? Not if they have a dumbass in their midst, or a cop that's known to be corrupt and horribly so. They should NOT protect these types people even if they are cops. If a cop has even one shred of character he will do what it takes to get rid of corruption and the bad seeds at his place of business, even if it's another cop. That, after all, is what he's getting paid to do. Cops should not suffer the bad guys working in their field. If someone is corrupt, they've got to go.

+TrueLoner cops are to represent their uniforms and badges what is it? to serve and to protect all of their citizens. they are not above the law and their lives are no more important then ours. they are being taught by who? OTHER COPS. What does that tell you? They act like natzies. Ever look at the swat teams and some of the prison guard's uniforms? They use { german } sheperds in their work. Look back on hitlers films, you can see the similarities. Can you see now? Do I smell a take over? The public should be marching in droves against such actions.
@trueloner1492
@trueloner1492 9 жыл бұрын
You're lumping them all into one group. Not all cops are bad or corrupt. I don't believe most are. I believe some are. It's time for the good ol' boy mentality to change. Cops shouldn't accept a known corrupt cop in the force and do all they can to get that individual out. As for the dogs, to me they're just dogs, a breed known for it's guarding/protection abilities. Lots of people love German Shepherds for those qualities, not just police. My mom and dad had a German Shepherd. My neighbors have one. Are they nazis, too? I don't see any connection to Nazis at all.

More likely there is no change as people sign up to be cops for different reasons. Some genuinely believe in the 'Protect and Serve' motto, some just want a job; Then you get some who are corrupt because they saw the possibilities the position provides and thought f**k it and become criminals with badges. Then worst of all the ones who just joined up because they either want to be legally able to shoot people or generally have power of them - these ones are the types that don't like having the status quo interrupted most of all.

Recent figures put law enforcement total full time complement at about 1.1 million officers. About half are law breaking, oath breaking traitors to our constitution and the public. THE TARANTINO “GUMP FICTION” VERSION of the famous Forrest Gump quote. “Life is like a box of chocolates. You open it up and most times someone's taken a bite out of each and every one. That’s when I gotta get out my .45 and blow their heads off. And that’s all I have to say about that.” ----Quentin Tarantino

Jester Cohort You are 100% right. I stuck in there, but finally accepted the futility of trying to invoke change in a fundamentally broken system. SAMUEL ADAMS That was my surprise with this case, ..how it was that the arse cop even got fired, ..and going by whats been reported about how many other cops were obviously stalking Watts over time, it's quite clear they were all at the ready to pounce on her for any indiscretion, to have her railroaded. She should be promoted and give a large broom. I believe the system has been broken for so long, that I know not the answer to that question. We all know that a fish rots from the head & the corruption we do hear about, is just the tip of the iceberg, so I think the best we can all hope for is to at least control it somehow. Here's a cop in our country, Rick Flori, who also knows all to well the futility of trying to do right & had his life made a misery >> conspiracyoz.com/2015/06/22/no-point-in-being-a-good-cop-conspiracyoz/ ..speaking of tip of the iceberg, heres some more interesting reading for you >> qldcops.blogspot.com.au/

@[A]ddiction I understand that in the case of a cop pulling a gun on a citizen, it could be justified. But put yourself in that cop's position and you have a friendly pulling a gun on you. Like wtf man. This is a fellow cop we are talking about. Unlike those "citizens" you describe, this cop presents no threat to that trooper whatsoever. So why pull a gun on him? That to me is completely unnecessary. From my perspective I think this trooper just wants her 15 minutes of fame, knowing that such a rare occurrence on her dashcam feed would be brought up in the news. Also next time, feel free to attack my point with an argument. You dont need to insult people just to get your point accross.

I never have believed in this "blue line" concept. Of course you stand up for your fellow officer. *But not if he/she is in the wrong!!!* Late for his other job? What the hell? She followed proper procedure here. Someone is going 120 miles per hour they are an extreme risk and need to be taken off the road. And at that speed, especially in a police car, of course you draw your weapon. A regular citizen does something like this and the officer will have the weapon drawn telling you "HANDS OUTSIDE THE VEHICLE!!" And then her fellow cops want to harass her for following proper procedure? And she's taken off road patrol? These people need a wake up call. Sue 'em, sister. Give them the wake up call the so *desperately* need.

Could it be, since your math has been proved bad, they've become your idols, now, even if not ours? If you were mistaken because you heard there had been 88 perps, you should understand, in america, if 200 crimes are committed, there can be at least 200 charges issued, even if the number of violators be fewer. They know that the more incidents like this get reported the more people question and interfere with police power. Once the dam cracks that means police actually becoming liabel for making decisions that lead to death or serious injury to citizens on the job. These cops got too close to organised crime and absorbed all the wrong lessons from them.

@U.S.S sure it's still illegal but if no LEO has ever been cited for running a stop sign while on duty it might as well just be a guideline or policy as far as they're concerned. You only can't do something if there is actually a chance of having repercussions brought against you (even then you still can do it, there will just be repercussions to deal with). Can/can't and should/shouldn't are all different things.
@AkronBaja
@AkronBaja 5 жыл бұрын
@U.S.S Well, you're either a Troll or a Pig, either way I smell bacon. So those words, they are different things, maybe grab a dictionary. Lol. A quick Google Search and some actual factual evidence, and clips here on KZbin can show you that cops indeed can and do break the law all the time. It's still illegal, they're still not supposed to do it, but they still do and very rarely get called out on it (unless it's very very bad). Even in this video this cop very clearly thought he should be able to get away with what he did. That should paint a picture. Then we have 88 other officers breaking the law by pulling her DL. LEOs also have something called qualified immunity. So even when they do break the law it often doesn't come back to bite them the way it should. If these videos are so common why am I having so much trouble finding a cop ticketing another on duty in uniform officer in their patrol car for something like going ten over in a 65 or rolling through a stop sign or pushing that yellow light? Bet I can find videos of ten cops breaking bigger laws and getting away with it for every video you can find of cops getting caught for things regular people get ticketed for on a regular basis. Lol... Don't worry about responding anymore however, we know you're ridiculous.

All 88 of those so called Police officers should be arrested and put in jail for stalking. Nobody needs Police like this at all. They do this to her, What are they doing to honest citizens?????????? Stalking is a very serious crime and needs to be addressed.

My B.I.L told me himself to use his name if I got pulled over.. I told him " dude I don't want to ride your coat tail" .he said you better.. your stupid if you don't... I did ONE time with a trooper and when I told him his name.. he was like " Oh he's your bro in law" Ok here's your warning".. so I know damn well THEY take care of their own.. its good and its bad..

I as well. I understand there is a camaraderie between us and will admit for minor traffic violations nothing usually happens. However he was driving extremely dangerous, excessive speeding, improper lane changes, and resisting by fleeing. I am shocked that any officer let alone that many would even condemn another officer for her actions.

Am I missing something? Cops can get fired for speeding but if they beat grandma's face into the pavement they get a week paid vacation. "Adams, you beat an 88 year-old woman half to death with her own walker for reasons we can't quite understand. That's a week paid leave now go on home. Callahan, get your ass in here. What the serious fuck were you thinking? 75 in a 30? Who the fuck do you think you are James Bond? My god man, you could've hurt someone. We can't have this behavior in this department. You're fired. Turn in your badge and gun."

As long as they are doing an act in the line of duty, that is when they seemingly get away with anything. In this instance the offending officer admitted he was was off duty and so is not protected by the job status.

hmmm you got a point. Getting fired for speeding? Only if you are a cop. This female cop overreacted.
@rustynuggets
@rustynuggets 10 жыл бұрын
She certainly did not over react. Fired because the officer should know better and is massively hypocritical as im sure he would have fined tons of people for exactly the same thing. Not to mention it would be considered reckless or dangerous driving the courts.
@SubUrbanNinja-EDC

She over reacted...and she knew a cop was driving that patrol car. The most she should have done was give him a ticket and report him to his boss. And then allowing this embarrassing video to be released to the public is a disgrace on the part of the department she works for. Image is everything and that speeding officer should have been dealt with more discretion.
@rustynuggets
@rustynuggets 10 жыл бұрын
You are incorrect. How would she have known he was a cop? The car could have been stolen and the person could have been in a uniform and not been a cop... the speeding officer was operating way outside of protocol. He made ALL the mistakes.

She understands the essence of the law, that no one is above it, and holds everyone accountable for breaking it. What high moral qualities she possesses in exercising it against her own colleagues who wilfully break the law. I hope she gets every dollar she is suing for.
