Sue their bond. If the bonding agent gets sued they will drop the bond on that particular cop if they cannot be bonded anymore they cannot be a police officer anymore all police are supposed to be bonded and they're supposed to carry that information on them as any private sector citizen is supposed to be able to ask them for their bonding information

My father was an officer, my uncle is a well respected detective, and the majority of the men in my family are in LE. so, I am not saying any of this from a point of just hating police. My dad says there are quite a few officers who are like this. Many of which are newer, rookies, and/or ex military and are obsessed with "action." They will brag about and relive such events over and over like a junky remembering their first high. They get moody, and overall just act like jerks when there is nothing violent going on. They pray for crime, and pray for an excuse to take down "the bad guy." They are a huge liability to the force, and a danger to the public altogether. Yet, they remain on the force for many reasons, which none of them are for the good of society, but mainly to cover the state and employees, along with pure laziness. Once again the innocent tax payers are punished for the criminal actions of the cop. The criminal cop gets a paid vacation while they “investigate” and find no wrongdoing.

So this dumb cop left an arrest to assault a man who was legally filming an officer from his own property. They're not particularly fiscally responsible with taxpayers' money. He shouldn't be a police officer!

1. He was on his property 2. He was far away and not interfering with the officer's arrest. 3. Anything he did should be legal in a self-defense situation. This last one is just my opinion
