We cut some of the smaller ones into quarter sized chunks to catch the larger weakfish. 100% larger fish feed on smaller ones

We catch weakfish/grey trout here in NC. They get huge up to 30" or bigger. We can only keep 1 here in NC and 12" minimum.

Weakfish actually get really big up north. My largest is 14lbs. Most of the ones you are catching are 1 yos.

State record is 10lbs and that was over 30 years ago, every region holds different fish and different sizes.

@@SaltyStrikes a lot of times fish at the northern ends of ranges tend to be bigger. We don't have a lot of sheepshead in NJ, but one under 4lbs would be considered small.

Thanks for the video! Wild to see a flock of Pelicans camping out your lines. As for the sheepshead, I don't have a fish preference other than sharks. Mike D has caught a lot of sheepshead this season, I think JUP has been out as well. I like seeing you go offshore more than I like seeing you posted up on a dock.

I've gotten several tickets there over the years. It used to be free, now you can get ticketed without a trailer parking in the grass over past the trees. Don't worry I don't pay them either.
