I'm noticing a very disturbing trend lately. You seem to be intentionally antagonizing people until you get a reaction that you can then use to claim you are a victim. That does nothing to help 1A acceptance, but does line your own pockets. You were both out of line on this one, especially Anna. The lady that "laughed" was likely responding to what she thought was a joke. You were whining like a child saying you were sad. Josh your videos have increased in quality in the last few years and I'm glad u are able to make a living at what you do. Although Ive been on the fence with Hanna Bobanna as I feel the point Josh makes is sometimes lost because Hanna goes on about something else. This was definitely the case in this video when she went on about a girl who wss obviously uncomfortable and therefore smiled but Hanna should have never gone on about it like she did. It completely took away from what you were at the desk to tell the ladies about which was the assault. I realize Hanna wants to get follows but right now she should still be in the learning stage as Josh is a great guy to learn from I feel that a 3 day suspension from leaving the car to audit would be appropriate in this case

Especially when the public is acting in a perceivably rude or disrespectful way. I can picture myself dealing with legal issues and needing to record interactions for record keeping.. I can also picture myself awkwardly doing it and being perceived as rude. Then the undertrained employees shut me down and start treating me like a criminal when I'm legally obligated to take care of things or else repercussions... Very poor audit. "Common courtesy" also applies to the two of you, when you are engaging in your lawful, 1st Amendment activity. Just because you are lawfully in your rights to record in public, that does not give you the right to harass, intimidate, and be uncivil, to your fellow citizens, regardless of the positions they hold. Do you two think, it common courtesy, to stand there, holding a recording device in the doorway to someone's private sanctuary, or office, saying practically nothing, staring at the occupant for a number of seconds, and expect to have courtesy reciprocated? That man was obviously uncomfortable with you two standing there, holding your devices, with little being said. It would have been entirely different, if you both approached his doorway and immediately engaged in professional and friendly small talk. You did not, which set that man off. That female public employee, absolutely, had a right to laugh, since that was her emotional mechanism to dealing with something she felt confused and uncomfortable with; and her co-worker, did have a right to try to deescalate the situation. She was not being "passive aggressive", just trying to professionally take it all in and understand, what had transpired. You were both antagonizing and rude, in this audit, and should reconsider your approach to engaging with government employees, if you are serious about promoting positive changes to the upholding of the Constitutional rights and liberties, we all enjoy. Audits like these, do not help the movement; they set awareness and learning, of personal rights and liberties back, not forward. You two, owe those Town Hall employees, an apology for your poor, unprofessional, uncivilized behavior. Shameful.

I really have to agree with this comment. Josh you are one of the better auditors out there but lately your technique has been a little more childish instead of informative and courteous. At the end of the day, these are usually hard working, good souled, American citizens just trying to get through their day to go home to their loved ones without feeling harassed for not understanding WHY there is someone with a camera on them and not courteously saying why. personally I don't think she was laughing because she thought it was funny I think she just didn't hear you and she was just trying to be kind so she laughed at what she assumed was something funny because typically people don't say they're sad and maybe she assumed you made a joke. Also banana, I think you got a little bit carried away because you said she's sorry you feel that way about what happened but you told her she was confusing and that's why she said "im sorry you feel that way". Nope. Cops/goverment workers need to follow laws and constitution. Petty is pulling someone over for a dim license plate light, and pretending to smell weed so you can search a car, and arresting them for resisting arrest, which is actually illegal, but happens every day. Then they get fired, and then evicted, and 2 years later the charges are dropped, and the cops are promoted. If police were required to actually know and follow the law, auditors would not exist
