COP28: Perspectives on a Just Energy Transition

A panel discussion and presentations to mark the opening of COP28, this event was co-hosted by the University of Plymouth, University College Cork and University of Massachusetts Lowell.
Bringing together academic speakers and industry and community leaders to discuss how research can address the challenges of global climate action. The one hour lunchtime event provided a local perspective and opportunity to engage with COP28 themes. It included a panel of speakers on the topic of a just, orderly and equitable energy transition and an audience discussion.
