Sarri literally came to Chelsea to ruin them. Spent 135 mil on kepa and Jorginho, spent 60 mil on pulisic, and got higuain on loan with an option to buy for 35 mil. That’s 220 mil in his first season and he’s sitting 6th on the league. Pretty sure 220 mil is way more than what pochetino has spent in his full Tottenham career

I mean everyone is to blame for the loss really. All the root of the problems I feel stem to how Chelsea operate. We can scapegoat Sarri all we want, but we're trying to transition to a new system. We have to back the manager properly and give him players who fit the system and want to be here. Simply put Alonso isn't good enough for this system. He is a good player and he is a great wingback, but he isn't a good fullback. I will back Sarri, but he should make some changes and get rid of some of the players who simply don't fit and are good enough. At this point what do you have to lose with Emerson over Alonso, Ruben Loftus-Cheek over Barkley/Kovacic, and Hudson-Odoi over Willian/Pedro. You really don't with the current state. People gotta know were transitioning. Pep and Klopp needed time, the Chelsea board should do the same.

Case in point my beloved Arsenal, tasked with finishing top 4 this season but were not able to strengthen in this recent window, the areas needed to help towards achieving this goal. If we finish top 4 "which can be done" "im not saying it can't" but i just hope that if it isn't achieved, the manager is given the next couple of transfer windows to build the squad he needs to really compete in the future.
