Talking about the spying thing. I remember reading somewhere (I think it was a Hardcore Histories book) that prior to the 1958 World Cup Final, the Swedish coach sent some spies to check on the Brazilian team. Apparently, the Brazilians found out and fucked around during that practice session, leading the Swedes to think they were shit. Cue a 5-2 thrashing and Brazil winning the first of their five World Cups. Pele and his dons were the first to finesse it in Sweden.

I'm a bit split on the Newcastle boycott idea. I've seen fans on both sides talk about boycotting, walk outs or refusing to leave. Walk outs and refusing to leave still leaves money in the pocket of Ashley so to me seems pointless. The worry with boycotting is it effecting the team, is being relegated and not being able to be bought because of the demise. Personal I think we're relegated anyway, if it isn't this season it'll be the next one so I think we should boycott but I'm not a season ticket holder and I understand for some fans it's more like a lifestyle than a day out
