18 minutes, felt like 5. You guys do an excellent job on these docs. Hats off again to the camera men and the editors. Would love to work on one of these! I also learned something about our brothers from Galicia. As a Portuguese, I had no idea about the Português vs Turco thing. Very interesting. Now that I think about it, in Portugal, there is a bit of that as well. In the south, they say that everything north of the Rio Mondego is Galicia. In the north, they say that everything south of the Rio Mondego is Morocco. And sometimes the border changes, depending on what side of what river you live on. I've heard Portuguese say that Galicia starts at the Minho, the Douro, Mondego and even the Tejo. Galicia e Portugal - uma patria valente.

GLO BOY: Good work is good work, regardless of who does it. Copa90 does good work on these docs. About whether or not they're biased against Portugal...I don't have an opinion on that one. But everybody was "biased" against Portugal in Euro 2016. Why? First, because nobody believed Portugal had a good enough team to win it all. Including me. Second, Portugal barely made it out of the group stages with 3 draws. Unprecedented and bizarre, even though it was entirely legal under the new tournament rules. And third, Portugal completely switched tactics in the knock out rounds and started playing an ugly duckling style of football that frustrated opponents and fans alike. Fans like me. I hated watching Portugal play like that because I remember the exciting, attacking football of the Figo era. And when they finally won the trophy, for me, it was more of a relief than a pleasure. Which is why I pray to the footballs gods that Portugal will put on a proper football show this summer and win the World Cup with goals and some old time Figo flair and Eusebio power. But my bias says that if Portugal wins it, it will be because of that big red bus parked in front of goal.

I'm half navarro and half gallego and I can say that Galicia is the most beautiful part of Spain. The summer there is so different from the rest of Spain, because is not the typical one of Mediterranean Sea, but just the opposite. The weather is like the UK, open to the ocean and all that stuff, but considerably warmer in terms of temperature. I'm spanish and I've visited many places in my country, and Spain is one of the most diverse countries in the world, because the different cultures all around Spain have nothing to do among them (is like being in different countries), but if I had to choose my favourite part of Spain, it would be Galicia without any doubt, cause it's not the typical culture the visitors expect from Spain, so it's so special. It's amazing.

From a Deportivo fan, this video is truly amazing. Excellent work. FYI : The main theory about why Celta's fans call us turks is that back then, there was a bus company called "Tour Coruña", and when deportivo fans would go to Vigo to watch the game they would cut the company's name to Tour Co, pronounced Turco which means Turkish in spanish. And the guy speaking about Celtic identity is full of shit, Galicia has not been invaded. It has been inhabited by Celts for centuries and centuries. But in the 5th century ACN a Galician king named Breogan invaded Ireland as told in the lebor gabala erenn.

Really fascinated by this channel and the good work they produce. As a football fan, what makes these "Derby Days" fascinating to watch is to first know the context, culture, and history in which a region is steeped in, then Eli and crew, through interviews and brilliant camerawork, really flesh out the derby itself. I always wanted to visit this region of Spain because I once did a high school report on Galicia. The football clubs really give more a flavor of what the region is like. Really interesting how this region differs from the rest of Spain, and hence, the two clubs uniqueness in La Liga. It was an interesting point how the two sets of fans jab at one other by calling one "Portuguese" and the others "Turcos." Copa90 - looking forward to more!

I think you guys should definitely do a Derby Days in Portugal. Sporting v Benfica is particularly feisty, without doubt the craziest game I've ever been to.

Been looking forward to this since last year and didn't disappoint. Keeps on getting better and better. You just don't see any football videos as good as these. Bring on the rest of Spain!

An important note. In my opinion, the Scots never conquered Galicia. The Celtic tribes of the north populated with their people the Britania. Hence the legend of the Breogan caudillo who spotted the British coasts. Hala Celta.

I am British. As far as I am aware, there were British migrants (i.e. the original inhabitants of ALL of the island of Britain) who left during the Anglo-Saxon invasions. They settled in both Brittany in France (notice the name!) and Galicia. It is nothing to do with the nation of Scotland conquering Galicia.

True dat. The British and the Irish descend from the Spaniards. They are the true Celts. Thats the reality: 1)www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/this-britain/celts-descended-from-spanish-fishermen-study-finds-416727.html 2)www.nytimes.com/2007/03/05/science/05cnd-brits.html

This video was epic, if you guys are running out of ideas for derbies could you please have a look at the Edinburgh derby, we are nowhere near as big as many of the other derbies but the passion is here, being a hibs fan there is nothing I hate more than a hearts fan, even if they’re also in my family. It’d be cool to see some recognition to a Scottish football match that isn’t Celtic or Rangers for once

Am currently spending time in Northern Portugal and Galicia. This is an incredible documentary, high quality, really well presented and culturally vibrant. I’m half English half Spanish, my Spanish side are from the Valencia region, my wife’s family are from Northern Portugal. This video taught me many things I didn’t know. Unusually my Grandmother from Torrevieja was a Deportivo fan because she liked the way they played.

Three things: 1. That's a big-ass crustacean 2. This is really the rivalry of just flipping each other off, innit? 3. One of the few times I love anthems is during the football. They sing the Galician anthem before derbies and I love it.
