I totally understand and it’s a horrible thing to go through… the latest paternity suit I filed was to get my kids back after I let them go without and agreement and he hid them for 3 months, it’s been 5 years and he continues to default and drag things bc I have to keep going back to court bc of cheap lawyers than don’t set specific terms 😢 I’m so worn out

My ex says, “I would never take our son away from his dad! The way he smiles when he is with you!!” Just a few sport years later…. She only wants me to see my son for 4-6 days a month. Went against every thing we agreed and dissected for years.

@Will B. my ex was basically homeless, and I let her move in for my children. I do not allow any control and keep the threat of her getting out, and things have been going great for months. She's heavily medicated now. What a twist of events. Best of luck to you.

So true. It’s seems they are hell bent on causing distress and harassment. My guy is facing texting abuse every day for no reason. He feels trapped to communicate because if he doesn’t he won’t see his 9yr old daughter. There is nothing you can do with sociopaths sadly

Very helpful.. I never went to court. But in the next life a very thorough parenting plan is needed. If there is room for decisions to be made by the parents the controlling parent is always going to win.

How do you deal with someone that lies about everything and if a good actor in court with the judge saying his the best father but yet he’s not even spending the time with your 8 year daughter He has her in the ymca all day after school at 2:05 until 5:45 pm ? The judge says it’s okay for dad to do that but you can’t as a mom be there even if you have the time

My narcissistic toxic ex-wife refuses to even do a schedule and respect it cause we should let the kids “decide” and of course they will prefer to be with her and their grandparents and cousins, me being a foreigner here who came to marry her. There are weekends when I barely see them, and the weeks are terrible. She loves the single doctor mother label more than our kids having a dad and that is why she did not hesitate on getting a divorce.

Or if the father doesn’t want to do 50/50 schedule or holiday schedule The judge won’t hear you and do anything in your favor because you filed for a move away in 2017 but got granted without your permission in 2018 the judge did the move away gave your baby daddy physical custody knowing you mentioned the court you wouldn’t move without your daughter if she couldn’t go with you?? How do we get physical custody back if we lost it and only have joint legal but father does everything possible to disrespect that and not involved me as a mother

I'm sorry but if you're even looking up videos like this your spouse is either a psychopath narcissist or is just so toxic, they would be diagnosed... there is no such thing as CO PARENTING with a character disturbed individual they only know how to COUNTER PARENT. All you can do if you're a male in this situation is to BE NEVER ALONE WITH YOUR SPOUSE EVER! record EVERY PHONE CALL save every text message email etc. ALWAYS have someone with you if you meet in person always meet in a public setting NEVER allow there to be he said she said situation because you WILL LOSE if you're a male. She spent F I V E minutes at the courthouse and got a DVPO with NO police reports NO medical records NO photos just an IM SCARED FOR MY LIFE and managed to take from me my Top-secret security clearance I lost my job my house my cars my guns my CPL she cleaned out our joint accounts she took my retirement savings she took the tax refund but worse of all she took access to my children... The day I was served the DVPO not even 10 minutes after I left, she called me and said, "Now that i have the kids you really have nothing to live for, so do everyone a favor and go kill yourself" and hung up

I believe every word of this. I had a text from my ex wife during the divorce that "maybe I would get hit by a train." My attorney made her read that out loud in court, along with many, many other similar text messages. I changed the password on our bank account because if I hadn't, she would've drained our account and then accused me of not paying the house payment.

What are the results when a parenting plan has been developed but the narcissistic ex simply won’t follow it. For example, when she is supposed to have the kids for three days but takes them for six? Or is not supposed to leave the state but leaves for six months? Are there any legal repercussions of them not following a parenting plan?
