Bodywork is an art to understand metal and know where the stress points are.I went to school to learn autobody .It.s very rewarding to fix damage like this and not just bolt on new parts.

Yeah he's calculated! This is gonna be awesome! He came in at the right time. People are demanding these auction auto rebuild type videos. Look at Goonzsquad, they EXPLODED!!!! I foresee the same thing here! I hope that one day this can be his full time gig... pulling a double profit between reselling and youtube!

I finally cued in on your channel yesterday while watching Randys. I used to have a neighbor who did this work in his garage and I really gained an appreciation for what you do. There is sooo much to know that people take for granted. Thanks for sharing.

Snatching you work that metal was great! Like the Bob Ross of bodywork.....”let’s just smooth out this happy little dent right over here!”

This is a great example of American know-how, ingenuity, and pure hard work and experience. A great role model. Kids, get of your backsides, pick up some tools and go to work.

Long time with out seeing that type of pulling. In today's chassis machine the technician is like an engineer. My respect for keeping the old school alive.
@tonybusch25645 жыл бұрын
soooooooo let me get this straight, using a trailer as a frame table, a modified engine stand as a frame pulling device, a c-clamp as the point of pull, a mini sledge hammer as your hammer of choice(instead of metal working hammers), and a jack handle as a chisel to hammer out some bad metal, did i cover everything?? hahahahahahaha, f'n awesome man. i love it. your my new hero. using the tools you have around you to get the job done. you know what i call that?? being american, thats what that is. good stuff brother. lovin the channel

I like watching any craftsman doing his work, you are a craftsman in the finest sense of the word. It is obvious you really enjoy what you do and do it with pride, keep it up and even though I know I won't ever do any of it watching someone who does it well is much more enjoyable than watching some silly "reality show" about something that doesn't work.

We had a screw anchor in the ground and a telephone pole to anchor to for little jobs like that. Come alongs jacks and turn buckles to pull with. Starting to get a little to old and grumpy to be crawling around a car any more, and watching you late nights brings back the memories. The last major work I did was in 1993 when I brought a 93 S-10 w/tahoe back from stolen recovered. Nothing was undamaged. She got severely abused. Spent an intense 14 days getting it ready for inspection. I still have her but she's rusty now and I have not got the place or money to restore her. I need to find some one who appreciates those old square bodies. Her and I were all over the country several times over. Keep up the good work and don't overlook those 20-25 year old gals there's life left in them yet.

I really like the older ones too. I will be sure to keep stuff like that on the channel. Thanks for watching my videos. I’m glad they bring back memories.

I worked in body shops and later at Geico Insurance from 1976 to 1998 and like the other guys here I like watching you work. It reminds me of my days in the shop. Nothing the smell of grease and oil and paint fumes and filler in the morning! I loved it! I miss those days. The best part was when my customers came to get their car and seeing the smiles on their faces and them thanking me and the shop for doing a great job. Yeah, I really do miss those days.
