Absolute A1 Video as always Paul! Keep up the good work. Just to let you know about the sites I use when selling a car. The bests are AutoTrader and eBay. However lately my last 2 cars that I sold were through Gumtree. I got more serious buyers from there. Would not recommend Facebook specially the marketplace area that Facebook has. You will get loads of messages but all time wasters!! Looking forward to your next videos!! -Your N1 Viewer!! Lol

If the wheel isn't broke then no need to fix it. L😉 If you ever need some pointers just ask. This year my brother and a friend are all going to work on this Biz full time and make some serious money if possible. Awesome content, but could you please explain what is the full process and how to get a new V5 if brought the car without anything. Thank you in advance.
@stevejones86654 жыл бұрын
It's actually all explained on the Government's DVLA website, Telling you how to get a New V5 V5C Logbook Registration Document in your name if you did not get a log book for your newly purchased vehicle.>>>>> Download and fill in an application for a log book (V62). Send it to DVLA with the green 'new keeper' slip you were given when you bought the vehicle. You do not have to pay a fee. If you do not have the new keeper slip, you have to pay £25. Include a cheque or postal order made payable to 'DVLA, Swansea'. DVLA Swansea SA99 1DD It can take up to 6 weeks to get the replacement log book by post. If you took your vehicle out of the UK Contact the driving authority of the country you took the vehicle to - they'll tell you how to register the vehicle without a log book. Send a letter to DVLA to tell them you took the vehicle out of the country. Include: your name and address the date you took the vehicle out of the country where DVLA can send the vehicle tax refund (if you're entitled to one) DVLA Swansea SA99 1BA Hope this helps clear things up on how to get a New Registration Certificate which used to be called a Logbook.

I just bought a car from Copart, when bidding the flag and country of the other bidder normally comes up but sometimes its a white flag with a globe in the middle with no country underneath, what does that mean? I can’t find any answers anywhere
@SubOhmN84 ай бұрын
Look up the term "Shill Bidding." That should answer your question. Copart has employess or agents participating in these auctions, artificially driving up the final price of these vehicles when they sell. It's fraudulent and unethical business behavior. Copart is well known for their dishonesty.

@CarsForPaul5 жыл бұрын
You don't have to do anything other than repair them. From a DVLA point of view, you just have to apply for the v5 doc using a v62. when you get the v5 (which will take around 6 weeks to come, it will have a stamp to say it is a salvage car. That's it.

Another great informative video. I have a couple of questions I'm looking to start as a side hustle. 1. Do I need to register as a trader to but from copar 2. If not when buying and I don't want to have the V5 as an owner as this my put off buyer if car has too many pervious owners. Can I complete the traders section?
@CarsForPaul5 жыл бұрын
1. No, you don't 2. If the car comes with the V5 you can use the yellow slip, in the case of buying a Cat N and S from copart, you won't get the V5 so will need to apply for it from DVLA using a V62. unfortunately there is no way around this, however, I have never found this a problem when selling a car.

Hello you are doing great with your videos learnt a lot from them. I need help please. Can you explan what it means for a vehicle at copart to not have a title ? Or the category says “bill of sale/ parts only/ no title”. Can this vehicle be shipped out of the country without a title?
@CarsForPaul4 жыл бұрын
It means that they dont have a cat S or N against them meaning they are clean when you do a HPI check.
@stevejones86654 жыл бұрын
I would have thought it meant they didn't have a Registration document or V5C because it had been lost by the previous owner or the repossession company was unable to get it from them. It's easy to apply for a new Registration V5C document from DVLA and it's not too expensive.

Paul l would appreciate your comments, regards Ivan
@CarsForPaul5 жыл бұрын
Copart don't do anything with the V5. If it's a Cat N and they have it on file, they will pass it on to you, if its a Cat S, you will have to apply for it from DVLA.

The same applies to repo's, Sometimes you will get the v5 and sometimes you won't. Be careful with Copart repo's, it can be a dumping ground for problem cars. Always make sure you see the car in the flesh first before bidding.
