Copart Hummer Headlight Upgrades

My daughter and I continue working on the Copart H3 Hummer and are adding better headlights in this episode. It's really fun to get to work with her improving her car that she will drive when she turns 16. I live in Oklahoma as well. I’m working on my H2 and my wife’s H3 right now. Just had to put a rebuilt engine in the 3. I was looking for those headlight adapters but the website constantly said sold out... so I ended up just buying a 3D printer so I could print them myself, along with the other pieces I need for our trucks. My wife has 35’s on hers with the factory suspension, been driving just fine for years. I need to replace the lower ball joints here soon, but that’s just because it has over 200,000 miles. Nothing wrong with the suspension. Keep it up. They’re fun to work on, and really easy.

Depending on the wire size, you might be able to run shorter wires to the side markers. Might also make a difference in fuse.

I have a 2006 hummer h3 on 35s recommend a outerfit tie rods especially in with bigger tires because I had broke the stock tie rods and the new ones I got from oem broke in a weak so had to upgrade and they are bullet proof and worth the price. Outerfit have great hummer h3 products and going to get more of their products because they are strong yes expensive but worth the price. I have a roof rack on my h3 that isn't Gobi and can fit a lot and made custom brackets for it and soon I can hold 4 50 inch light bars on the roof rack. Last would recommend a switch panel system for off road lights. Rough contry makes one for 200 and they can hold I think 5 to 6 switches. Last under glow lights will look nice which I have white ones right now. Best of luck with the H3 product I'm currently 150k w no engine problem more suspension problem than anything else.

I must have missed it, did you figure out what was knocking ? I saw where you had done a rebuild on it, just curious if it was the rod bearings. Got it looking good !

Yes, had the engine rebuilt and discovered that 4 of the 5 rod bearings were bad. The previous owner must have run it out of oil. Not good.

No one answers the question will bigger tires increase MPG. When you think about it all new trucks have bigger tires to get better gas mileage. Do a survey test.
