Cadillac motor mounts go out very fast if you’ve really been pushing the car, they’re perfectly smooth otherwise. You can’t hear or feel the engine running at all from the inside when they’re good. It’s because they make them with a softer rubber material so if you push the car they wear out fast.

That Cadillac is a CTS not an ATS. My Mom is on her 3rd CTS and they all have felt that little bit of vibration. That Caddy is an amazing car and would make your Fiancé a great car!!

Give that Cadillac a slight Rev whilst in reverse then in drive while you’re holding the brake and watch the motor to see if the engine lifts then you can tell if one of the engine mounts are broken.

This Cadillac reminds me today. My car would idle rough only with the AC on. I ignored and the check engine light came on. I scanned it. Gave a battery code. Cleaned the battery connections. Had buildup of white corrosion. Reconnected battery. Toped off the water in battery. Started car. No rough idle with AC on. No Check Engine light.

Road Glide has the bat wing fairing attached to the frame. Street Glide has the fairing attached to the handlebars. I said this a couple of weeks ago, but you didn't read the comment, evidently? Electra Glide is the big brother of your Road King. The 'U' in the alphabet soup of Harley's code stands for ULTRA, and this was an Ultra Classic.

Definitely go for the Focus, be interesting to see it brought back to life. Hey Randy, I rode motorcycles everywhere for several years, and had just one incident, and it was my fault, slanted railroad tracks got me at slow speed. Picked up the bike, and drove off with nary a scratch. You always have to be on your game, and ride like it's a cycle, and not a car. But, those were the days before airbags, and cars weren't a heck of a lot safer. I understand your hesitancy, and whatever you decide is fine, but even though you don't ride much, maybe keep it for those times when you feel the need for that freedom. You can afford to let the bike sit, and just have it for your own reasons. Look at it as a toy, not transportation, and keep it for those days you just want to have a bit of fun. Resale on a low mile harley will always be good so you won't lose much keeping it 5/10 years with 5,000 miles, yet you'll have had it all that time, enjoyed it physically, and as eye candy. Ultimately up to you, just saying think of it as a now and again ride, which is ultimately why I think you bought it in the first place. 👍✌

That focus st is in the same shape as my sons car. He's 16 and hit a jeep... with the nicest owner ever. Been trying to get him a cheap donor car for the front end out of copart but it's a fierce market. I hope it's doable in the driveway lol.

I have 05 cadillac sts 3.6 v6 it have a shimmy but you should do a motor flex test. Where put it in drive hold the brake and give it gas to see the motor flex.
