I had Ford E350 Van with the V 10. It was a strong running motor. I went on a trip to the north Ga. Moutains and the V10 did not use any more gas than the other V8 Vans on the trip. The Van was a good one until it was totaled.

I used to be on a van pool and a few of the vans had the V10. Those were the favorite ones. They got less than 1 mpg less than the V8, but were far more powerful. When I left the van pool, the V10 that I drove had a 180K, but was running like new. Only problem that we had were coil packs. Definitely recommend to replace them all at once, otherwise as we found out, you'll replace all 10 in about 10 weeks. ☺

I had a great experience with copart. Went out two or three times a week for two months bidding on cars hoping for a deal. . . Then scored! Drove it off the lot. . . Have driven it 1500 miles now. Everything works and love it. . . Plus got it for just over $1000 out the door. . . My friends are jealous. . Lol. . Now I am looking for another great find

I much prefer the shorter format as I actually have time for them... longer ones I start, but inevitably get pulled away. One suggestion that a lot of viewers might want to see... follow up with the vehicles you highlight and show them actually being sold on the website... that way it's kind of a full circle deal. Ya show them in the yard, you poke around them and look for damage/flaws, give your thoughts, then show what the vehicles actually sell for when they leave the yard.

Xterra's are really good truck based SUV's. The one in the video is a 2002-2004, what we in the Xterra community call a generation 1.5 model. Yes, it has the 3.3L VG33E engine which does have a timing belt. at 180k miles that would be one of the first things I would do if I bought it. The VG is an interference engine, so if the t-belt breaks you have a high risk of catastrophic engine damage happening. I had a 2001 and drive it for 8 years and over 100k miles. It was a beast of a truck. bad gas mileage, but it never left me stranded. It was one of the most reliable vehicles I have ever owned. I would still have it if it wasn't totaled by a stop sign runner, sad as it was, it's all good.... That accident turned my 2001 Xterra XE 2wd into a 2010 Xterra Off-Road 4x4 that I am still driving today with 145k miles on it. It has also proven to be very reliable.

On the white Super Duty, isn’t that burnt spot just a bracket where something was mounted to the front of the frame? Like a plow or utility bumper or something, and they just torched it off to reuse it on a new truck. I bet the rear bumper was unbolted and reused as well.

heh I used to have a 2000 5speed manual 4x4 xterra. That was before they offered the VQ motor and the engine was a dog, even the old v6. They even sold these in a 4cyl initially, which baffled me. Has the aerodynamics of a brick wall but a great active vehicle. Simple to work on, bumpers lights etc are all non painted to cheap and easy to replace. Everything is bare bones and simple making parts cheap and easy to work on. 4x4 low was fun on sand too.
