Hi Randy, sorry about your job. I honestly think things happen for a reason and this is your opportunity to give this channel the growth you deserve. I wanted to let you know that I recently was unsubscribed from a lot of my favorite channels and had to go back and subscribe. I'm sure I didn't resub to all the ones they unsubbed me from. Something to look at or to mention to your subs. Is it legal to maybe start an email sub list to notify your subs of new content etc? That would ensure you can always reach your subs even if this happened to them. Just an idea. Lastly, I'm sure you do, but look at your analytics to see what people love to watch most and spray seasonality etc. It should help as your channel gets ready to explode. I also noticed, when working with other KZbinrs, that when they upload every day for roughly 6 months they grow really really fast. Keep up the great work! I've been there. I was homeless in my 20's and then went from there to running digital for big companies and then investing in real estate. Now I'm focussing on a KZbin channel and will be talking about digital marketing, analytics, web experiences, investing etc. You got this man. You inspire a lot of people. Hope I can meet you at some point. If you're ever in San Francisco hit me up.

Randy grab that Chevy Equinox super easy to fix you just have to make sure the fuse box comes from an all wheel drive Equinox I'm willing to bet somebody stuck a big fuse in there or maybe the starter went bad and is shorted and they kept trying to turn the key and start it and start it and burnt the wires up and a fuse box

Always wanted to know, how much typically, would it cost to have airbags replaced?? 370z especially is what got me thinking, apart from the right front end, what does it involve to get new functional airbags??
@brian5o5 жыл бұрын
I think you should take a chance on the Equinox. Other than the minor hail damage, the paint and wheels are in good condition and there were a lot of decent (OEM and Napa) parts in it. I'd say that the prior owner tried to take care of it. The fire damage is contained to a pretty small area. Even if lets say the engine turns out to be bad, I bet you could sell it for parts and make a profit. on it. I like that 370-Z, too but I'd be nervous about what that relocated wheel and tire may have damaged when it shifted. That interior does look sweet in it. Regarding the H3, I have driven one when they were new. You do feel pretty bad-ass driving one but they really are a dog. I think they got the inline-5 and it feels WAY underpowered for what it is. I agree, in the Hummer world, an H2 would be worlds better.

the 370z looks like an easy fix from what we see in the video, the cast aluminum subframe might be tweaked/bent from the impact would be my only consern and I would take a closer look for any signs it has moved/cracked/bent, subframe is a strong part so more likely the arms gave way and its survived

That equanox was a steal more money in parting it out u can get 300 for the tranny and the AWD gear box and then the motor u can get a good 300-400 out of it and then the rest of the parts a good 3000 grand just in parts then the scrap money

With Onstar you take out the Radio Fuse to disable it. I believe that is correct on that truck. You can also use a Portable Cell Phone Jammer. That is what most Thief's use heck everyone knows that. Most of all if there was no damage to the Ignition on the Steering Column they had a Key and that truck won't start without the chipped key. Module wont let it. Who knows. All kinds of ways to do it.

That 09 avalanche would be a good vehicle depending on why the check engine light was on. The truck has AFM/DOD system which is super temperamental if not maintained. The ticking at start up tells me that it wasn't maintained very well. My 2011 Tahoe has the same system. Those systems can be deleted with a cam swap and tune. It would be a good buy if you're willing to put in some hours to do the work

On the VW Jetta, Volkswagen were using a light primer under metallic paints at that time to make the colour pop a nit more. Unfortunately that primer doesn't seem to stick to the car or to the colour coat very well so paint losses like that are common and they can rapidly get far, for worse once the paint has started to go as the water-based paint gets attacked by the weather and goes from a few chips like that to peeling off in great sheets as the water gets behind it. From the state of the driver's seat in that one it either hasn't been well cared for or has done a lot of miles, and both of those are pretty bad news on these, more so if it's a petrol/gas engine, but the 2.0TDi tends to have a lot of problems with higher mileage due to them not being built properly in the first place and using parts that wear out and fail, and in several cases can trash the engine entirely, which is obviously not desirable on a cheap car. I'd walk away on this one, the fact it's listed as no odometer reading does rather suggest that the water got high enough to get into one, or maybe several, ECUs and may well have killed them. It's pretty well known that ECU issues on these tend to trigger all sorts of cascading electrical issues on these so there's a good chance that it would turn into a nightmare of chasing electrical maladies and ghosts for a very long time before the car would be ready to sell, rendering it unprofitable, even if it was very cheap to buy...
