I would not buy a flood car: salt or fresh water. I have heard experts say that even if you clean/replace connecters, the corrosion can creep up the wires, under the insulation, and cause problems, even starting after a year or two. Obviously any hidden mold, maybe on the underside of seats or inside the dashboard, would also cause health problems. Also, how are you able to see what the winning bids were? I have been a Copart and IAAI member for some time and have only found one free website that is hit or miss on this info.
