In 2016 we bought a GMC Acadia Denali package with 8000 miles that was covered in golf ball size hail dents. They took $28000 off the price with a clean title and Carfax report. We got caught in a hail storm 2 years ago and insurance paid to fix it all.

My neighbor owns a tool company that sells for paintless dent removal! She sells all over the world. You guys could learn the craft of using the tools! I used garages that use this technology on my company cars. Sitting in hospital parking lots as a pharma rep I got 2-3 door dings a year, and the leasing company that owned the car PHH paid for the repair.

I got a hail damage jeep grand wagoneer for 900.00 with 100,000 miles on it you wouldn't believe the damage one dent on the hood opened the hood paintless dent removal dead blow hammer. Nice car drove it for another 800,000 miles until the transmission failed and a parts buyer bought it from us for 5,000 can't complain

Hi Guys, I really enjoy watching ya videos when i get in from work in the UK, how big are the hail storms in the US to cause damage to cars to be written off?/salvaged? we do not get that kind of hail storms in the UK..

Sure, would love to see how you sell these. With the economy, I think many people need a reliable A to B vehicle for a decent price. When I used to sell cars I always tried to make sure I was near the bottom of the market so I made a little money and the buyers were happy.

Have you guys ever looked into paintless body dent repair? You certainly have the talent to do it. I’ve had numerous dents removed over the years and love the results as there’s no painting as long as the paint isn’t damaged. BTW, great video too.👍🇺🇸

Keep your eyes open for flood cars from NW Iowa, we had two communities hit hard two weeks ago from flooding. Our local Ford dealer lost 27 cars, 3 brand new Mustangs two GTs and a Dark Horse on the showroom floor wiped out.

I've owned a hail damaged car or two. I never had to overpay, and both were light colors, so the damage was less noticeable. No matter, you got a good deal on both and that Colorado is definitely a steal.

for a personal vehicle I don't see why the hail damage is such a big deal. will keep it from being stolen. will people not buy one with hail damage? great starter vehicle or work beater. does the cost of repair get recouped in the sales price vs just selling it as is?

To repair hail damage correctly is a tedious, time-consuming task. (it doesn't involve bondo) It is really a skill set apart from normal body work. Best of luck with the newest vehicles. Always enjoy the content. We were just out in N. Carolina the week before last. I should have looked you guys up.

That first car you looked, the white Ford Explorer has an aluminum hood which is why it took a pretty good hail hit.

If there's no access to the back of the panel, it usually means a layer of Bondo filler. Then people assume the car's been in a major accident when it hasn't. PDR works if you have rear access, but I've never seen the dry ice trick work.

Hey could you explain more why you don’t take a car? Maybe go over HOW you would fix these hail damage cars. Does it require grinding down and filling each hail damage spot one and repainting the entire car? You have transition time between cars. So going over the work it would take would be good.

That was a horrible hail storm that they had in Rock Hill. Should be lots of mechanically sound cars that just suffered surface damage (albeit it pretty bad). We know that Ivan can handle the body work though and make them look showroom new again!

This is partially being left outside during storm while the garage is full of junk. After the fact consider the value of your truck versus the crap you have in the garage. Then think of your monthly truck payment . $1500 dollars a month for a hail damaged truck!

You must not get hail often. I've seen vehicles sell new with hail damage so severe they looked like they'd been in a serious crash. The people who bought them obviously didn't care about appearance. Maybe you could use some PDR techniques on the worst dents.

Theres nothing wrong with Hail Damage vehicles just Cosmetic insurance Company's automatically total these cars.Some people buy them "AS IS " Their car may be in bad need of repair so they buy one of these for $5,000 Like you did put 200,000 Milies on it etc...

In some state they should sell cars with golf ball finish body panels so hail damage will become a thing of the past. Maybe we're on to a big fashion statement. Factory Hail Damage with a dealer surcharge and upcharge on the sticker.

Laugh at these guys bidding, the Van was a great deal and they ran away but will bid way up those trucks, ive bought hail damaged vehicles and had good luck..but have also bought my vehicles back from the insurance company that were damaged good vehicles you dont want to get rid of and dent pulling can get a lot of dents out...some of those looked like dealer lot vehicles and the dealers want their money from them i wouldnt buy a used dealer hail damaged car as you never know what the mechanical condition was
