i remember listening to myron cope on the radio any time i went to see my beloved grandmother in pennsylvania may she rip. this brings back a lot of memories.

This era was my introduction to being a Steeler fan. I grew up in Youngstown, Ohio right between Cleveland and Pittsburgh. The Browns were Champions and the Steelers were a freak show. Is it any wonder I look back fondly with the coming of Chuck Noll. All of a sudden, we didn't stink anymore and even more importantly we became the Browns big Daddy!

In the Bobby Layne trade the Steelers also got Tom Tracy a good fullback that contributed a lot.
