Jeremy, we need to have episodes like once a week based on. " Rolling Burnouts " Whatever cars/trucks you are doing during the week, after you tune them, take em for a spin to make sure all is well, then to an undisclosed location!! And we wana see what these vehicles can do for rolling burnouts! Step 1 - stop vehicle ( open road ) Step 2 - clear obstacles Step 3 - Powerbrake/ 2 step/ line lock vehicle for 3 seconds. Step 4 - Let it eat ! Plant gas pedal to floor Step 5 - proceed to annihilate tires down the road as far as possible to achieve distance and blackness of posi's. Lol Step 6 - film it from several angles if possible ! And it shows all of us how awesome the cars you build really are! Just a thought Who doesn't enjoy smoking tires !

This truck was built by Pro Fab Performance, the same guys who do a lot of fabrication for Cleetus. The COPO Camaros were hot and the customer wanted to take that level of cool and apply it to the newly released Colorado, the result is this COPO Colorado.

Oooooooooooohhhhhh that's nice! And I keep seeing it and then getting lost in the rest of the fun. That Dell 5404 Rugged pc is the business, we bought 3 of them a while back and they have been worth every cent of the $10000 we paid for that lot here in South Africa. It was money so well spent, we have put bigger SSD's in them but that's it. But otherwise not a cent spent on maintenance on them in the 3 years we have owned them, due to them not breaking. Really, the LS of pc's it is. I get all warm and fuzzy when I see you using yours, cause I know how nice it is. So, back to trucks with belt driven intake manifolds that have ac in them. How nice is that! Thanks for sharing the experience of having it in the shop for some spicy seasoning from chef Jeremy. Did a good job of cooking up some rubber there chef! Definitely a nice truck with a lot of torque. I just wish it would wind up more excitingly. It makes so much down low and never really gets spun up to those crazy rpm where the excitement is. That’s from watching all the turbo cars, who’s fault is that? Hmmmmm. Lol. Would i be sad driving it? No..... no i wouldn’t.

I always thought builds that use the factory A/C to super cool the intake air was cool. But you really don't see anyone doing it. They just rip it off. I learned about it years ago from some old timers that built door slammers. One of them was a fabricator for Roush racing when they were still in Michigan.

I always thought it would be a fantastic idea in the early 2000s when CVT transmission were being introduced to make a mini CVT transmission to drive an AC compressor to cool intake charge and reduce parasitic loss on the engine by spinning the compressor faster without loading the engine so much

@@arcadiagreen150 When your hitting you intake air with a 30 degree drop you over come the parasitic loss and pick up gains. You don't even have to be fancy, just cut off the factory duct at the blower motor. Then just route a new single duct to the intake pre MAF.

Just wondering if, since it states you have no traction, if a centrifugal supercharger wouldn't be better to not hit the tires with traction breaking torque from the gate plus adding a TON of power up top once the truck is rolling.

Ya know, I never really thought of positive displacement superchargers the way that you explained it. I always thought of them like more of a restriction, but I know that with a smaller pulley and the proper supporting mods they are capable of making good power on a properly built engine. I always thought of turbos as being a better form of forced induction, but turbos can never produce boost as quickly as a supercharger would, centrifugal or Roots style.

Turbos are superior overall....however if it needs immediate TQ and lots of it that’s your choice. Let’s face it cars are getting heavier and if they can put down the power this has reliability and delivery

@@Fasterproms1 You're right, having all of that power on tap is definitely a good thing and having a tuner like you commanding it is hard to beat, especially when it comes to throttle response. You were building over 10 psi on just a free rev, obviously you can't do that with a turbo.

This made me miss the heck out of my 08 Chevy Colorado I got in hs. Loved it. Had the 3.7 5 cylinder in it, put a 1.3 vortech supercharger, ran 7psi but bumped the stock 190whp too 320whp. Sooo much torque and sounds better than an LS
