Evening Paul, I was literally doing the self and same thing on Sunday in the garage. Sorting all the brass and removing steel and plastic parts. I weigh in every December, and I have just over 60kg saved. @ £3.80 a Kg, it's going to be a nice payday. Keep up the great content, loving it 🫵💪

good haul! There is something to be said about taking an extra hour or so to remove bolts and stuff. I'm always surprised at how much actual extra cash results from that little bit of extra work. A few pennies here, a few there, then suddenly there's a massive pile of pennies.

Always good to run a magnet through your shell casings as some of them may be steel cased. I also sit on a five gallon buck when making my KZbin videos onm my gardening channel. They are just the right height!

Those oval shaped tap tops are almost always zinc, and taps are sometimes zinc. The zinc ones are usually quite thick. I always hit the chrome taps with a grinder to see if they are zinc or brass. Michael may not even buy zinc other than to throw it in with shred material.
