SB-119 9" Serving Bowl
SW-130 Copper Jade
SW-401 Light Flux
SC-9 Jaded
RB-140 #8 Soft Fan
AC-222 Medium Writer Tip Kit
AC-224 Plastic Detailer Cap
Sponge
1. Begin with properly fired cone 04 stoneware bisque. Moisten a sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
2. Using the AC-222 Medium Writer Tip Kit without the metal tip, apply SW-401 Light Flux in a pattern around the top edge of the piece. We applied 2 rows of “w”s so there is a space to add the Stroke and Coat.
3. Exchange the cap on your SC for an AC-224 Plastic Detailer Cap and apply SC-9 Jaded as dots inside of the loops made with the Flux.
4. Allow the glaze to dry.
5. Apply 3 coats of SW-130 Copper Jade to both the inside and outside of the bowl. Allow the glaze to dry in between coats and avoid glazing the foot.
6. Use a damp sponge to wipe away any glaze that may have gotten on the foot.
7. Fire to cone 5/6. Sample piece was fired to cone 6

This is how to promote products. I would have never wanted to by Flux before this.

That is so beautiful! I don’t have Copper Jade. Do you think Amber Topaz or Tiger’s Eye might give similar results? TIA

The Flux and SC will perform similar with most other glazes, but the colors produced by the Flux will be different if the top glaze is different. This technique really looks good with everything, just be sure to apply enough product to create that movement!
