Copper Pennies/Cold Marinated Carrots
slice, cook and cool 2 pounds of carrots.
Place in mixing bowl.
add:
1 chopped bell pepper
1 chopped onion
1 chopped stalk celery
in saucepan:
1 can condensed
tomato soup
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 t pepper
1/2 t salt- optional
3/4 C vinegar
1 C white sugar
1/2 C cooking oil
1 t Worcestershire sauce
heat through until sugar is clear. Cool and pour over carrot mixture.
Chill at least one hour.
Keeps in glass container 7 days.
