I'm working on all kinds of stuff getting things processed for a load at the end of the month, as far as non Ferris goes. I have some great big parking lot lights im processing also, really good cast aluminum and big transformers....lots to do over the next couple of weeks! Also a decent amount of copper I'm getting ready, the prices are crazy. I just do it part time, but it helps pay rent.

Nice chunks of brass and copper. And nice time to cash some in. That's a perfect place for the gardener sign. Good idea.

Not a scrap yard in my town that pays anything over the lowest grade copper for motor windings, just not worth the extra work
@kevinmonroe6769Ай бұрын
Maybe for you and me but Bert has it down to a science 😎
@brian56Ай бұрын
I've got 12 5 gallon buckets full of windings ready to go and more to pull. I do it on rainy days in the garage or in the middle of winter. They weigh around 75 pounds per bucket because I pack them down. Worth it to me!

He has a point I definitely do run into quite a few aluminum ones nowadays but there's not really too many places to find Copper in any kind of amount it sure beats taken apart little tiny Transformers

Do you take the strings and the tape off the motor cut offs. Is there a down grade at your scrap yard.

Do you ever try to do armature electric motors? Or are they to hard
@ScrapFarmАй бұрын
I don't feel there's a lot of yield...for the work... unless you throw them in the wood stove
@mariodeangelis3825 күн бұрын
Is it worth burning them? Is the yield less than the fan motors like the ones in your video
@TrashManJakeАй бұрын
What type of air hammer is that?
@zalmaflashАй бұрын
Craftsman Battery powered.
