Copper to Brunette Balayage Hair Transformation - Will Color Remover Help?

Hey Everyone! Today's video is a colour correction from a client of mine who previously had her hair go from all virgin natural level 2-3 to a fiery copper with a deep root. its since grown a bit and she has decided to change it up and go to a more low maintenance look via brunette balayage.

We have really hard water where I live, and the one time I tried to balyage on damp hair, the bleach must have reacted with the minerals in the water/hair and it all turned to liquid and the bleach was dripping out of the foils. The hair wasnt even wet, just a bit damp. So beware if you have hard water and want to try it.

I grew up with well water. It turned my blonde highlights orange. I’ll live in my car before I ever live with well water again. These days I’m a nice level 9.5 and still use Ion crystal treatment whenever I think the toner is getting muddy or turning a weird color with time. The I retone. I’m a pandemic Bleach Queen and learned I freaking love doing my own hair because stylists never got it light enough for me to be happy. Even after getting away from the well water haha

CPR has worked amazing for me! Maybe try shampooing 2-3 times first, applying CPR & Malibu color distruptor & do the full 45! All and all incredible result as always! Love your channel 😍

I found putting low lights and highlights sections at the same time from bottom to top works well for me

I think the endresult is really pretty, But i think me personally had liked it a little more neutral tones 😊 ive tried CPR many times, and i think its okey, No miracels, But if u use it two times its usually takes out a little bit more 🙏🏻

In my 30 years of doing color, I never found a better color remover than Pravana color extractor. CPR just doesn't meet my expectations. I haven't been able to find it in a while and the product stunk like weed if you didn't use the rest of the product in a couple of weeks but Pravana was the best.

Love your results. In my hair dresser brain I would've done it opposite... start with the roots all over first then add the blonde to have them meet and add the the depth on everything else. But, as we all know there's more then one way to skin a cat. 😂

Malibu works better in the second round and you have to apply heat so it works better. Plus use some dish soap with it ;)

Yeah I found color removers hit or miss especially if they don't have bleach. Sometimes they work incredibly well, other times it's pretty meh

I agree!!! One of my favorite non bleach colour removers is called Vanish! It’s so good but it’s super stinky

As a stylist, she could’ve said no. She chose to do what she could with the time she had. So if one gets annoyed it’s because they don’t take charge of their work and time.

God I hope you see this comment but you actually did it wrong I just seen a video where I have been doing it wrong too because i have been doing it the same way as you I didn't like CPR because I felt like it did nothing but after seeing this video oh my God I can't believe that I've been doing it wrong for all this time so what you're supposed to do is wash the hair with undo goo first then you go in and apply the color disruptor all over the hair put that under the dryer for 20 minutes then you take them out from under the dryer take off the plastic cap and then you apply the Malibu CPR all over the color disruptor and then you put it back under the dryer for 45 minutes with the cap and then once the 45 minutes is done then you wash their hair three times with the undo Goo I cannot believe all this time I have been doing it wrong oh my God
