I think this ring would be very cool with mixed metals also. As they have silver washers also. With gold or copper wire. Just a thought while I was watching. I have a whole box of silver washers. I may try some mixed metals too. Beautiful ring.

@moeberle6263 I actually have done this with 3 different sizes. I stack them. I use washers for various designs. Frames for cabochons, etc. Also make pendants. Necklace & Earrings. Necklace is really cool when you dome and hammer. Do you actually have sterling silver washers? I imagine they'd be expensive. Tku! 🙂 DDLYNNDESIGNS.COM

You could buy sheet copper and a punch set to make your own washers. That way you can choose the size of the center hole.

Hi DD! That is a fantastic ring. You are so imaginative and creative. I'm a beginner jeweller and I can't wait to give making this ring a try, it looks simple in theory the way you instructed but it doesn't look like a simple ring. I bet when you sold those rings at your show 3yrs ago they sold fast. I can't wait to wear mine, I'm sure I'll get lots of complements and "where did you get that?" Then I can tell them I'm a jeweller and sell my work. Of course, if I sell any of your rings I will mention your name. Do you have a website? May I ask where you're located? State or province, assuming you're in Canada or the US. If you don't want to say, that's ok, I just get curious as to where the people I follow are. We'll, I've "liked" this video and I've subscribed to your channel, I hope a see more videos from you! Take care DD, and thanks for the inspiration!

Real nice work! Just a question - I'm Italian and I maybe lost some explanations during the tutorial -: the first ring looks like you have hammered the spiral in the center, the wire looks a little flat...am I wrong? Or is it just an optical effect? Thank you very much for sharing your work!
