What was with these freaking monsters. The evil they do. Poor Frankie, he was just a child, a child you freaking monsters. What a tragic affair. What a talent Frankie Lymon had. What a disgrace these creeps. They own the entertainment industry and just about everything else. R.I.P. Frankie. We will never forget you..
@danvanlandingham38546 жыл бұрын
That was history of show business as it was.Take a good look at some of the child stars of the '30s throu the '80s,they were a hot item until they hit adolescence then it was all downhill.Think of Matthew "Stymie" Beard who could have been called a '40s version of Frankie Lymon.He,like Lymon,was a heroin addict himself.He died around 1980 around the age of fifty.Take a look at Chuck Berry and his relationship with Alan Freed:Freed cut himself in on fifty per cent of Berry's tunes;Berry got 25% and some cat named Russ Fratto,whom no one seems to know much about,got the remaining 25%.Another example was trumpeter Charlie Shavers;he,as a trumpeter in bassist John Kirby's sextette,wrote the song "Undecided" in 1938.He ended up selling the rights for $100.That was the kind of a deal any manager would go for.Their thinking was that it was better to take the cash offereed rather than hold on to it for royalties that weren't realised because the song would probably die on the vine.Dizzy Gillespie was another example:he wrote a song called "interlude" in 1944 while playing for bass saxophonist Boyd Raeburn.He sold it to Raeburn for $50.00.The song,retitled "A Night In Tunisia" became a late big band era/be bop classic.There is an old story that was told that if you wanted to survive in the record business(or the music business for that matter)you didn't pay anyone.

Generally most people do drugs to cover some type of pain, his heavily uses of drugs just might have for him to try and cover up his lost of his friends the Teenagers when he went solo. The craving affects took over because of the constantly thoughts of what ever that was making him hurt, rather the loss of the Teenagers or some other type of trauma, then addiction sat in, you can bet your bottom dollar on that.

That guy really finds the 18 months thing "amazing"? It's just coincidence that a few incidents line up somehow. These barely were coincidences, it's just some dude putting emphasis on a point in random artist's timelines. There is no connection between those guys!Sure, a few rockstar giants died at age 27 ("Forever 27 Club") but then a lot of them didn't die at 27. Maybe it's the fact that most of those guys died from drug use. Accidents and coincidences do happen, but if you look into things a little then you can easily plot a pattern (which in reality it's just bullshit.)
