You did a great job. Can anything be used on those wooden stairs to keep them from having so much mildew?
@CopperCreekCuts2 жыл бұрын
@@mgbsecteacher I am sure there are some sprays, but all I really use in pressure washing is bleach, and bleach can react bad to some woods (as far as how they take/absorb it) so I didn't use anything.
@SpawnofChaos2 жыл бұрын
@@mgbsecteacher Outdoor wood stain/sealant can help; periodic treatment with an anti-mold/mildew spray will (of course) also help a lot.

People don't seem to realize a lot of slips/falls happen around the house and the older you get, the less bouncier you are. Glad the homeowner got this simple yet important pressure washing done! Awesome you posted an offer to help folks out and as a byproduct, people get to see the reasons why it's essential to keep areas cleared and un-slippy (for lack of a better word).

So I've only used this pressure washer one time. kzbin.infoUgkxfQauTxLT0JLSvqkq10rD79TU4k0Vz8zP The one time I used it, it worked great. I recently had new siding installed but kept the old gutters and small areas surrounding my house that weren't replaced so they looked horrible and dirty because of the new siding. I needed to get it cleaned asap. When I used the pressure washer, man it just melted all the dirt and grime that was on those areas of my house. I used that krud kutter soap and it was over after that. Easy to assemble, feels durable, very simple to use. Also, I purchased a used one to save money and there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. I want to get more use out of it so I think I'll be washing the cars and update this comment as time goes on.

That's a great gesture for this family. Stairway safety is paramount with the elderly and the disabled. I know you mentioned that they plan to paint the stairs. Once they do that, may I suggest putting skateboard grip tape on the steps? If you're unfamiliar, it's material that you stick to the step and has a very grippy, almost sandpaper like surface. I'm disabled and have this on my steps. It really helps keep the user stable as the use the stairs. Keep up the great content and thank you for the pro bono work you do. 👍👍

Good job although I have a couple of tips for you! When cleaning wood try to go from one side to the other in one motion (as you did on some of it!), will stop all those lines in the wood. Also I’d advise getting a turbo nozzle for the stone, save you time and will do a better job! Also I would’ve finished off that small section of wall to really make it look great, not just the centre section. See you put bleach or sodium hypochlorite on the back of the truck, would defo spray some of that down after just to help kill off the algae and brighten it up even more, just make sure you rinse it off after 15 mins. Hope you don’t take this the wrong way, just wanted to advise from one professional to another 😉👍🏻

The BEFORE and AFTER transformation was awesome - and besides doing this so you can post more video / make more money off of your KZbin channel, it was an especially honorable way of helping seniors out. 👊 Subscribed and rang that bell! - Looking forward to seeing future content.

Nice job! I used to pressure wash professionally for a few years. One trick I learned that worked for me with wooden decks is a little counter intuitive. You will notice when it dries you can see every stroke made with the wand if you go with the length of the board. However, I learned that if you go perpendicular to the length of the board, then you will not have those stroke marks in the wood when it dries. It will look clean without the lines from where you stopped and started each pass with the wand. Anyways, good luck and great job.
