I got coppercube6 and I am loving it! best 3D game engine for what I need! no programming. But how do we remove the filtering on the textures? I'd like minecraft sharp textures! :( - I've already disabled anisotropic filtering but still...
@AloanMoreira14 жыл бұрын
@Project 2319 I'm 2 months late, but Thank you so much :D - regarding animation which I guess isn't covered here, I heard on a video a guy saying you need to skip 10 frames in blender in order for an animation to work... (kind of weird?) but I guess blender is the only free alternative to create animations for CC, right?
@AloanMoreira14 жыл бұрын
@Project 2319 I got the solution long ago, as I had posted 8 months ago! thank you for responding though! I had to open a special window on the view tab and disable bilinear filtering1 and it worked!

I LOVEEEEEEE Coppercube! It seems like these days I am starting to love these node/visual based programming game engines more and more with the likes of Coppercube, GDevelop, Construct 2/3! It seems like I get things done much quicker than with the traditional text based programming. And what I like about Coppercube is I could do both! I also like that Coppercube is lightweight!
@LNMedia6 жыл бұрын
HE360 Agreed, but I must add Godot to your list. It is gonna be quite the Game engine when version 3.1 gets released.
@hanniffydinn60196 жыл бұрын
HE360 nobody creates big games without visual editors these days. Engines like unreal have quite complex visual editors for complex behaviours. They are used a lot to build the game world and logic.
@HE3606 жыл бұрын
Hanniffy Dinn That's true. I like how I am able to throw a game together quickly with such tools. I am experiencing what you mentioned with G-DEVELOP in the 2D sense. And I have been nearly able to complete my game with everything I wanted in it and it has been two weeks since I started.
@HE3606 жыл бұрын
LNMedia I started out with Godot. And it has great potential and I was using it for a while. In fact, I made my own tutorial on it. But suddenly, I found G-DEVELOP for my 2D stuff and have been using g Coppercube for my 3D stuff and because they have a been quicker. Someday, I might go back to using Godot. I am just waiting for more resources to come out for it as I am maybe a medium programmer and am still trying to learn how to use it myself; especially it's 3D side; even though I have managed to yes, make tutorials on Godot's basics.

Hello i have seen that during terrain editing you moved very easily to all directions but when i try to move to top or bottom ,i need first to rotate the camera to the correct direction and only after this i can move to bottom or top and this very impractical ,however i have seen that when you moved to bottom or top you were not rotating the camera. What buttons do you pressed to move inside the scene without rotating the camera ? I would like to change the position in the scene without rotating the camera.

I have 100 fences I'd like to turn to back to static map instead of dynamic by clicking in the editor... But the blessed engine does not allow me to untick all 100 at once! I have to select each, then uncheck each and everyone of them!!!... is there a way to solve this? this has led me to a very slow development, for so many things require multi-selection... Thanks!!!
@AloanMoreira14 жыл бұрын
@Vegan Pete Thanks for the response, but I was not talking about node selection itself, but multiple node property unchecking...

@johncuozzo77916 жыл бұрын
look to the left upper window just above where keep track what your doing . you should see new scene. and all what you did below it. look for the name you called the human. some times they appear below scene or off scene, when you see the name click on it. choose move the control f and it'll find it

Hi Mike. How do you pause and resume the game ? There is no timescale or anything like that ?
@gamefromscratch6 жыл бұрын
Create a scene for the pause menu. When switching scenes they are paused and resumed automatically.
@ahmadtakhimi68396 жыл бұрын
If I have 30 leveles or 30 scenes, every each one of them will be loaded and paused when I changing scenes ? For example If user are playing from level 1 to 5 at one shot, every scenes (1 to 5) are paused and are not unloaded ?

What happened to Godot tutorials? And shouldn't they be on devgame?
@gamefromscratch6 жыл бұрын
Godot tutorials are still under development. The series is hosted on GameFromScratch ( www.gamefromscratch.com/page/Godot-3-Tutorial-Series-Index.aspx ). Series delayed a little bit because of waiting on a few breaking changes before moving on. Don't worry, more Godot 3 tutorials are coming.

Android yes, iOS no.
@hanniffydinn60196 жыл бұрын
Gamefromscratch Jesus Christ is it much to ask for iOS deployment ??? It's the most profitable market. This has put me off it.
@Znop2 жыл бұрын
@@hanniffydinn6019 4 years late but I thought I'd drop a comment anyway for anyone who might be in the same situation, iOS deployment has nothing to do with the engine you use, it's the way Apple sets up their development system. To even debug a game on your iOS device you need to have an Apple developer account which costs $100. It's a very unfriendly system to indie devs, but it's their way of trying to keep poor quality games out of the market. Android, on the other hand, makes it simple enough to just drag and drop your APKs, but the downside is that the Google Play Store is filled with low quality games.
