Or willingly walk into a cell himself for Malfeasance by a Public Offical, a felony. Punishable by usually a $5000 fine, five to 10 years in prison or both. No special needs prison yards or special prisons. 10 years in a Level 3-5 prison in General Population and would make sure his paperwork is known and let prison gangs and politics deal with him however they see fit.

He sealed his fate by saying “I can’t apologize to a black kid.” Before that, he could have just been overzealous when he stopped the little boy and arrested him. He probably could have made the case that he wasn’t racist and would have arrested a white kid in the same situation. Wow! I would love to see Captain Porter fire him. I can understand the cop running after the kid with his grandmother's purse. I think that most cops in general would do the same because some things don't always look how they are actually are. But, the cop has become in fault when the kid has pleaded with him plus has told him about his grandmother's health condition. So, the cop deserves whatever Captain James Porter gives him.

right and granny was also right to point the color cause most of the time itd be most likely he would have ether let the kid go or not bothered the kid if he were white. it even happened in reality with life being the real crooks like I have heard a black lady was arrested for a miscarriage she cant control but a white lady who purposely killed her kids with no arrest.also i read most innocent people who were arrested were black.its ridiculous

Its also funny no one has said that technically in a similar scenario, the boy could have been lying and saw the woman having that attack and stole the purse.....it is also a possibility too, so the cop could have believed him and helped and find out it was a lie and he would get in trouble for being duped, so either way, the cop would have gotten in trouble regardless, just different levels.

This video is the reason why you never judge a book 📖 by its cover. The child did nothing wrong but yet got treated as a criminal because of his skin color. This is the type of world 🌎 we live in ladies and gentlemen. The police 👮‍♀️ don’t go by your word or by giving you the benefit of the doubt, they simply go by your color and that’s sad 😞. Kudos to the boy for disobeying the police officer no matter the consequence, but for getting the pin to his grandma to save her life.

How is it anything to do with black people? That's like asking What did Adolf Hitler and the Holocaust have to do with Jewish people. The officer refused to apologize to the grandson because he was black. He even told the grandmother, "I can't apologize to a black kid". As for you comment "The police guy just made a mistake", that's not true. He made a mistake when he tried to falsely arrest the boy even though the boy tried to tell him his grandmother was in trouble. But then, when the grandmother asked him to apologize to the boy- an act so simple it would not have taken more than a couple of seconds, the officer refused. The officer thought that because the boy was black, the boy was beneath him. and so he did not deserve an apology. The officer did not say "I can't apologize because I was just doing my job". He said " I can't apologize TO A BLACK KID". Like "How dare you expect me to apologize to his kind".

I'm North America Indian and have been through much of the same growing up and identify with these situations. I was wondering if you would consider including some of my race and what we go through being stereo typed as well? We have alot of good resource people that could help with stories and situations. I grew up in Detroit and got bullied for being Indigenous. I'll never forget how some of the black students rallied around me and protected me. I spoke up for them as well. Friends for life we need to stick together and keep demanding fair treatment. 💖💞

If you just followed where the kid was going, what danger would happen. If you feel suspicious, that's a call for your guard action, not seize action. It's just a purse, and the kid did say something scary would happen, so why are you so stuck on a meer judgement, is it a crime to have forgotten a purse and needing it.

@natestlm2352
@natestlm2352 2 жыл бұрын
Yes he did. This shows how ignorant and shallow that people like the police officer is,but not to mention racist as well because of who they are. All the kid was trying to do is help his grandmother and the police officer accused him of something because of his skin color, but Thank God he saved his grandmother's life. Even if he was trying to tell the cop that his grandmother needed help, he still refused. Thankfully, his grandmother was okay and now the police officer would lose his job because of his shallow personality towards different people and he should have apologized to the kid after the situation, but refused to do that because of his skin color. That cop is racist and hates anyone and anybody who's different from him because he's been taught that way throughout his whole life from his family members, particularly his Parents and grandparents, even his friends to hate certain people of different countries, cultures, backgrounds, sexual orientations etc,but he also was probably sheltered away from the world from different people, went to private schools to avoid different types of people who were different from him and when he enters the real world on his own and sees people who are different from his, he can't understand or relate to them, but he was probably bullied in his early stages of life up to high school and college, rejected by girls of his own culture and probably saw these girls dated different guys, particularly African American men and that triggered his hate and ignorance from that point on and why he became a cop for one reason: REVENGE!!! So the cop targets different types of people who are different from him and gets back at them because of his past experiences. To me, that's hateful, childish, and ignorance in many ways possible.

I like how the ending was good and she didn’t die is good but the officer should’ve listened to the kid and even if he said sorry it still would not be acceptable because that almost costed her, her life.the officer was literally supposed to help the grandma, the worst part in all is how he based what he was doing of off his skin color.The worst part is how we didn’t even get to see the officer get arrested or her even call her brother-in-law.All in all it was a great video

@BlueEyes-ii4zz

It's not unusual to question a kid especially a boy running with a purse regardless of color, however the police officer was overzealous when he cuffed the kid. Once he stopped the kid and questioned why he was running woth the purse, the proper procedure at that point would be to follow the kid and render aid to grandma. As far as the epipen only doctors can' actually administer them unless you put it in the victims hand and move the hand. Overall the cop made a mistake but there was no racial profiling infact there was no racism until he said "I don't apologize to a black kid"

6:20 Would've been more realistic and less cringey if he'd said something like "I'm not apologizing for a misunderstanding." He still would've been a jerk for not apologizing for traumatizing the poor kid and it still would've made him deserving of being reported to his boss. The writers didn't have to go and make him say something so blatantly racist to get the message across.

Okay, seriously, was the officer really at total fault here? When he first saw the kid running, he didn't do anything. Then when he saw the same kid running with a purse, he assumed that the kid had stolen a purse. I agree that he was being racist for saying, "I can't apologize to a black kid," but was he really wrong for making an assumption? And yes, he threatened to shoot the kid, but he didn't, even when he had plenty of opportunities to do so. I'm not saying that the kid was wrong at all for trying to save his grandma, but I don't see any other way how the officer was supposed to react regardless of the kid's skin color. Whether the kid was black, white, hispanic, or asian, what would you have done in the cop's place?
@MrBookworm01
@MrBookworm01 2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, seems that "I can't apologize to a black kid" comment was meant to clarify the cop was in fact racist. It would've been better (and less cringey-sounding) for him to say something like, "I'm not apologizing for what was a simple misunderstanding." It's a more realistic refusal and the cop still would've been a jerk for not apologizing for traumatizing a kid and nearly causing a woman's death, regardless of whether or not him trying to arrest that kid was based on racial bias.

He was not racist until after he said he would not apologise to a black kid. But before then the grandmother had no proof of racism. But no matter what colour his skin is, you don't threaten to shoot a child that is not a threat. When the child was pleading and saying his grandmother was dying, he should have followed him to see proof and told him he would be arrested if he ran. Should have calmly had him walk over to grandmother. He handled it wrong when the child tried to explain what was happening rather than think he may be telling the truth. Edit to say he was racist the whole time, but there was no proof for the grandmother that he assumed he was stealing the purse because he was black until after he refused to apologise to a black kid.
