How is it anything to do with black people? That's like asking What did Adolf Hitler and the Holocaust have to do with Jewish people. The officer refused to apologize to the grandson because he was black. He even told the grandmother, "I can't apologize to a black kid". As for you comment "The police guy just made a mistake", that's not true. He made a mistake when he tried to falsely arrest the boy even though the boy tried to tell him his grandmother was in trouble. But then, when the grandmother asked him to apologize to the boy- an act so simple it would not have taken more than a couple of seconds, the officer refused. The officer thought that because the boy was black, the boy was beneath him. and so he did not deserve an apology. The officer did not say "I can't apologize because I was just doing my job". He said " I can't apologize TO A BLACK KID". Like "How dare you expect me to apologize to his kind".

@natestlm23522 жыл бұрын
Yes he did. This shows how ignorant and shallow that people like the police officer is,but not to mention racist as well because of who they are. All the kid was trying to do is help his grandmother and the police officer accused him of something because of his skin color, but Thank God he saved his grandmother's life. Even if he was trying to tell the cop that his grandmother needed help, he still refused. Thankfully, his grandmother was okay and now the police officer would lose his job because of his shallow personality towards different people and he should have apologized to the kid after the situation, but refused to do that because of his skin color. That cop is racist and hates anyone and anybody who's different from him because he's been taught that way throughout his whole life from his family members, particularly his Parents and grandparents, even his friends to hate certain people of different countries, cultures, backgrounds, sexual orientations etc,but he also was probably sheltered away from the world from different people, went to private schools to avoid different types of people who were different from him and when he enters the real world on his own and sees people who are different from his, he can't understand or relate to them, but he was probably bullied in his early stages of life up to high school and college, rejected by girls of his own culture and probably saw these girls dated different guys, particularly African American men and that triggered his hate and ignorance from that point on and why he became a cop for one reason: REVENGE!!! So the cop targets different types of people who are different from him and gets back at them because of his past experiences. To me, that's hateful, childish, and ignorance in many ways possible.

It's not unusual to question a kid especially a boy running with a purse regardless of color, however the police officer was overzealous when he cuffed the kid. Once he stopped the kid and questioned why he was running woth the purse, the proper procedure at that point would be to follow the kid and render aid to grandma. As far as the epipen only doctors can' actually administer them unless you put it in the victims hand and move the hand. Overall the cop made a mistake but there was no racial profiling infact there was no racism until he said "I don't apologize to a black kid"

6:20 Would've been more realistic and less cringey if he'd said something like "I'm not apologizing for a misunderstanding." He still would've been a jerk for not apologizing for traumatizing the poor kid and it still would've made him deserving of being reported to his boss. The writers didn't have to go and make him say something so blatantly racist to get the message across.
@JamesParker19982 жыл бұрын
That confirmed that he is in fact racist. Until then I thought she was making a big deal on the whole race thing. But this confirmed that he is racist.

Officer she has a brother-in-law named Captain James Porter. You could get fired by your actions, which means this all falls on the officer who did not know a black boy was trying to save his grandmother from almost dying all the accident you took unforgivable to the grandmother right now, and I agree with her you need to face the consequences of your actions which means her brother-in-law captain James Porter is going to hear about this

My allergic to life brain immediately says uh oh...the cheese from the pizza!. LoL 😆. A cop threatening to shoot anyone more less a child running away is crazy. EVEN if the person DID steal anything.

The kid didn’t even do anything wrong this is why cops like that are the worst
@nicholasemjohnson472 жыл бұрын
Okay, seriously, was the officer really at total fault here? When he first saw the kid running, he didn't do anything. Then when he saw the same kid running with a purse, he assumed that the kid had stolen a purse. I agree that he was being racist for saying, "I can't apologize to a black kid," but was he really wrong for making an assumption? And yes, he threatened to shoot the kid, but he didn't, even when he had plenty of opportunities to do so. I'm not saying that the kid was wrong at all for trying to save his grandma, but I don't see any other way how the officer was supposed to react regardless of the kid's skin color. Whether the kid was black, white, hispanic, or asian, what would you have done in the cop's place?
@MrBookworm012 жыл бұрын
Yeah, seems that "I can't apologize to a black kid" comment was meant to clarify the cop was in fact racist. It would've been better (and less cringey-sounding) for him to say something like, "I'm not apologizing for what was a simple misunderstanding." It's a more realistic refusal and the cop still would've been a jerk for not apologizing for traumatizing a kid and nearly causing a woman's death, regardless of whether or not him trying to arrest that kid was based on racial bias.
@hollysplash25092 жыл бұрын
He's not at total fault but he should have listened when the kid said his grandma was in trouble. She was in his line of sight and clearly sick.
@rmanimationsdc27812 жыл бұрын
He should just followed the boy
@mr.lolzguy50762 жыл бұрын
He should have calmy asked the kid to show him where is Grandmother was Instead of arresting him immediately. That is what i would have done.
@JamesParker19982 жыл бұрын
He was not racist until after he said he would not apologise to a black kid. But before then the grandmother had no proof of racism. But no matter what colour his skin is, you don't threaten to shoot a child that is not a threat. When the child was pleading and saying his grandmother was dying, he should have followed him to see proof and told him he would be arrested if he ran. Should have calmly had him walk over to grandmother. He handled it wrong when the child tried to explain what was happening rather than think he may be telling the truth. Edit to say he was racist the whole time, but there was no proof for the grandmother that he assumed he was stealing the purse because he was black until after he refused to apologise to a black kid.

The old granny didn't need to tell the Police Chief, the Police guy just made a mistake. How is it anything to do with Black People??
@stacysaint-ilma7812 жыл бұрын
The officer should’ve thought of that before he made a bad quick judgment.
@davidgiles46812 жыл бұрын
That was not a mistake. It was a failure to investigate, prove the kid (a thief) and then arrest him. I (as a cop) would have had the kid take me to the grandma, and then call the EMT(s). This cop was so used to lying that he "proved before the fact" other peoples lying.
