@showwhite7320Ай бұрын
@@peacepoet1947 Cops do not put their lives on the line. It's a myth. Read the following: FYI - Police Safety The 750,000 cops in the US injure about 250,000 Americans every year. 75,000 of them are hospitalized. Over 1,000 are killed. This means that, every year, 1 out of 10 cops will hurt a civilian so bad that they end up in the hospital. On the other hand, while cops kill about 1,000 civilians, only about 40 cops are shot and killed every year. 40. This is extremely low given that there are 750,000 cops. This is 5.3 deaths per 100k, only slightly above the national average of 3.7, which includes office jobs. To put it in perspective, the fataility rate for landscapers is 25 per 100k. For farmers, 23. Truck drivers 29. So why does everyone believe that cops put their lives on the line? Even cops believe this, so they will shoot first, ask later. As a result, when you approach a cop, the chances he will kill you is 20 times more likely than the other way around. It's literally deadly to be around a police officer. They have a gun and they will use it.
