To be fair, watching/listening to Jess on TBC on KZbin *is* a podcast (and why she probably has staying power). Jess isn't "horrible" at what she does, she just does it differently...could she be "better" at her role?! Everybody can improve at their job...however, abruptly cutting someone who had a substitute that did a tremendous job while they were on leave would be grimy...I think there should be a team of four (because lots of the top syndicated radio shows have a panel of 4-5 hosts), Loren comes in as a weekly (at minimum) contributor if they can make her permanent daily (as Morgyn replaced Tesslyn and we saw they brought Tess back for an at length interview last month) or have Loren as a floater who subs for CTG or Envy as well as Jess...the only other solution that might not tank their radio budget (unless ratings drop so low to justify a termination) would be to wait out Jess's contract if she didn't quit. Hopefully, the brand won't implode over the controversy of the female broadcast talents

To be fair...in the original hiring, Loren's skills weren't at the level they were when Jess went on maternity leave. Also, I think in terms of "star power", I think Jess has more followers than CTG and Envy combined...Jess brings (a) quality to TBC, I can see some of the "buyer's remorse", but unless Jess does something extremely foul and wrong, terminating her contract prematurely to get Loren FT would be *extremely* expensive with either a hefty severance package or a lawsuit...also think, if management steps to her with *any* type of negotiation on this level, she's a comedienne who would light them TF up and it would be deja vu of the Angela Yee awkwardness except Jess's reach would probably have a far more lethal mouth (Yee wasn't fired from TBC, but the staff conflict that led to her not wanting to renew her contract made that exit time extremely tense and awkward...any mention prematurely could be a financial liability to the brand and possibly "sink" the existing radio talent)
