Power loading is not ideal, however, in waters with high wind or current it can be needed. The concrete at our marina is fairly shallow into the water so power launching compromises the structure of our launch.

Pontoons, deck boats and Cat boats need to come into the dock strong because they don't move sideways good, hit reverse at the right time you slide right into the spot you want but make sure you have an engine that don't stall on you before you try that

we stopped using this ramp bcuz so many would just tie up their boats and leave it in the way! don't understand why people don't do what me and my hubby do, he backs boat in, I drive boat off trailer and then go pick him up after he parks truck. On the way back, I drop hubby off on dock and move away from ramp and wait while he gets trailer then I drive boat on trailer. There...no being in the way of other boaters!

I should send a pick of our launch..inland lake. Our lanes are much narrower and we never see these issues. We also have paint marked lanes. Some of these operators make me sick to my stomach. We have wind and some minor current. Sad seeing folks come in like they do given the clear wind/current.😂

Welcome to Navarre Dan. That ramp can be a b*tch on the southern most lane when covered in sand - sucks the trailer tires in and can be almost impossible to pull a bigger boat out even with 4WD. Good reason to carry a tow strap!

When the cops showed up, the lady started running her mouth, while the kids shut up! This is far from typical because kids these days are so entitled, disrespectful, and very immature. And they usually are worse to cops! This is what happens after the no spanking, only "time-out" discipline. We are now seeing the results, and it's horrible! It doesn't work! We were taught that you NEVER speak to ANY elder disrespectfully. If we had a problem with an adult, we were to go to our parents and let them handle it in an adult manner! I have to say that from what I see from young people today, this country is in huge trouble, and most people don't even realize it yet! Did you know that the trades can't get young people interested in getting their hands dirty anymore, much less learn a trade. The trade schools are closing or canceling classes because there is no one to take them! Next time you need to call a plumber, electrician or hvac tech, check out who shows up compared to what you got 20 years ago! These kids today are living at home as long as possible and believe they are going to get rich on the internet! In the mean time, everyone else better start learning to perform your own services. And don't think google always has good answers either. Many times, it all about clicks, not helping you fix your issue! Good Luck!
