@@MacDaddyBanks Most of the time I've had conversations with coppers, {or eavesdropped on their convo's} it was quite apparent that most of these people {the coppers} were NOT the brightest bulbs on the Christmas tree. I actually once worked as an aircraft mechanic alongside a Fort Worth {Texas} Reserve copper. As a mechanic, this guy was a total "hack". He was once given a job of removing an engine fire bottle and the manual specifically says to undo the bolt, washer, and locknut that attaches the bonding wire electrically from the fire bottle to the aircraft airframe {ground}. Instead this boogerhead reserve copper takes a pair of wire cutters and just cuts the bonding wire in half. So the supervisor found out and became pretty livid because now a warranty "card" has to be issued to cover the cost of a new wire - which at the time was several hundred dollars, because when you order a bonding wire, it comes in a bag of 100. So you have no choice but order 100 bonding wires just to replace one that was deliberately destroyed. Then to add insult to injury, this puke of a reserve copper NEVER admitted he was wrong or accepted responsibility or apologized. The only reason we had him as a mechanic is because he was a temp contractor and his resume' said he had worked at American Airlines.

Hey Larkin, I grew up in a home where one of my family members was in law enforcement and I should use quotation marks around the term. You are absolutely correct when you say that law enforcement consists of some of the most criminal unethical people you will ever meet in your life. This is usually true because the politicians higher up are as bad or worse. Generally what happens to the people who go in with good intentions, is that they are targeted by the people who are there to conduct criminal activity and they are driven out. My observation has been that it's not a matter of a few bad apples spoiling the whole barrel. You see the barrel has long been rotten and occasionally a good apple will find its way in and soon be destroyed in one way or another. I have seldom seen a situation so bad that adding law enforcement to the mix couldn't make it worse. The system has its evil so well-organized that idealistic people that go in are pigeonholed into places where they can do no harm to the criminal apparatus operating around them. And the higher up you go, the worse it gets. The level of criminal activity that I have personally witnessed at the federal level is frankly, nightmare inducing. We are well past the point that Ayn Rand predicted that the nation was doomed. And you may already know this but the nickname "pigs" was given to police based on the role of the pigs in the novel Animal Farm by George Orwell.

Thanks for sharing - now my sister about 30 years ago went into the police academy and earned her "wings". She was at the graduation and some Chief of Police met her and my pops {who passed in 2022} and the Chief asked my sister "so are you glad you made it through ??" {or something like that} and my sister in a kind of sarcastic way answered, "no, I'm happy to be a police officer". Well for whatever reason, this Chief did not like her response - in fact my pops took her aside and told her she disrespected the Chief. So her first week on the job, I kid you not, they planted mara hoo chee in the squad car's trash can and said she had confiscated mara hoo chee from a "criminal" and when nobody was looking she threw some in the cop car trash so she could use for her own personal use later. So they had "evidence" enough to fire her. So my sister's career as a cop lasted the amount of time it takes to go through police academy PLUS 7 days. Frankly I think she should be thankful she got fired.

"To rob and extort"
@anthonyverolme7 ай бұрын
Thanks for the video Larken. Some dude in a costume is trying to rob me by placing a ticket under my windscreen wiper. Imagine a small suburban town in The Netherlands, in a place far from the town centre, where houses are built around a big square with about 50 parking spaces for the people that live there. You can only enter the square through one street exit, so it's kind of an island. On average, around 25 spaces are occupied. Just before the Easter weekend, I parked my 6 meter and 7cm small motorhome in one (not one and a half or two) of the spaces in the middle that is farthest away from the view of any home and behind a large hedge, not to bother any neighbours. It is perfectly parked in that one spot, so the nose of the motorhome doesn't stick out on the road or something. It just can't be bothering anyone, let alone do any harm to another human being. We had planned for a weekend trip a lo and behold, there is a ticket on the windscreen for parking in a forbidden spot. The price for this 'crime' is €129 or about USD140, so it says in the local government's rules, that state that you cannot park a large vehicle (like a semi or full size truck with hauler) longer than 6 meters in an urban area. If you are going for a holiday though, it is 'allowed' to park you caravan (or camper I suppose) in a parking space near your house to get it prepared for the trip, but it cannot be parked longer than 7 days. And that was what I did. On the ticket was no name from the officer just a number, but I will try and find out who this man is and talk candle light to him. Your thoughts about this are so spot on and reflect mine, but I'm less articulate than you. The strong feeling of injustice being done here is running around in my body and makes me feel very uncomfortable, because I am sure I have done no wrong to any other human being. Thanks for helping to make my thoughts and feelings calm down. I come from a time where people talked with each other if one was bothering or annoying another human and solve things amongst themselves, even the cops talked to people to see if there could be another solution before having to write a ticket. I spoke with long retired highway cops a while ago and they told me that they hated modern day police. When they drove around in the beautiful Porsches of the highway patrol back in the 70's, they always tried to be an example to other people on the road. The thievery and muggery will only stop when we say no, and I will never stop trying to talk some common moral sense into people, cops and statists included. Warmest regards to you and the mrs!

To top it off i was on a freaking bicycle which does not require a license to be used as a vehicle anyway so even under their statist magic spells no implicit consent to abide by their random set of traffic rules could be derived from that either. They immediately asked for "my" ID (which I'm forced to pay for and bring with me wherever i go) and did not even bother to tell me what my crime was, as if it is supposed to be obvious that violating some arbitrary rule is proper justification to rob a person under threat of violence. We did the dance where i asked what my reason for being pulled over was and i got the expected, "You ran a red light and there are rules in place to guarantee everybody's safety blablabla", then when i asked them who i endangered by my actions they pivoted and appealed to their law. I got them to admit that their law holds primacy over my own safety that i willingly put at risk and i asked them how they could then justify giving me a ticket. At that point they clearly got agitated, gave no answer, handed me back my ID, got in their car and left. I could not resist telling them that law is supposed to be in service of justice and that by giving me this ticket humanity can safely go back to sleep knowing justice has been served. This robbery set me back 119 euros. Where would we be without the men in blue who are out there to serve and protect me from being robbed under threat of violence!

@@maurices5954 once again, they're not trying to contract with you and never were trying to contract with you. They think they control you from birth. The "social contract" is just the bullshit that their bootlickers tell you, they don't bring up the social contract. You will NEVER make a difference at the side of the road. You're dealing with control freak sociopaths with the coping skills of a 4 year old. Well, sorry. The only difference you'll make at the side of the the road is the difference between you driving away or being led away in handcuffs (or worse). The ONLY place where you have a chance to make a difference is in court, where you can expose their hypocrisy. If you know what you're doing. But at least there's a chance. And then you take you win in court and publish it to the world so that the compounding effect of more and more people doing the same thing will eventually tip the scales and allow people to break free of their programming. A lot of ifs there. But, your reasoning is a dead dog. You'll get nowhere and accomplish nothing. At least the way I describe, there's a small chance.

Hypothetical. Let’s say some guy works the night shift. Let’s say the backs roads he travels to get to work are nearly empty at 10 p.m. (2200). Let’s also say there’s a particular stop light that has an unreasonably long red cycle on the road he is traveling (4 or 5 minutes). This guy is going to go through that red light every time it is safe to do so. It’s common sense, folks.

America is the Fourth Reich Operation paperclip flooded big business, big pharma, and a lot of other important roles in our government. What is operation paperclip? Well it was a classified program that America underwent extracting Nazi party members after WW2 that would “benefit” America in the long run. And boy is it benefiting them, not us. I also love a lot of the similarities between the Nazi party and present day American politics. My favorite similarity is the uniforms of the Nazi Gestapo, all black, like most police forces in America today. The Schutzstaffel, aka The SS wore skulls on their uniforms, just like a lot of police forces do today.

While I don’t call workers at the tax office assholes to their face like you suggest, I do make it a point to not tell them thank you as I leave. It was actually difficult for me not to say thank you at first because I sm so accustomed to telling people thank you after a transaction, but they absolutely deserve no thank you’s for robbing me. .

It's interesting to imagine that you might also have to pull over in a private city. But the private city might 1) have made a contract with you to acknowledge certain technical rules if you want to live there and 2) pay for the occupied soil per time in some way. Statists might argue against you that you have the possibility to get involved in changing the law (democracy blablabla). This corrupts people to participate in the occupation of soil without paying per time in some way. This is the robbery I see.

Cannabis activist Thorne Peters opined that No Mens Rea should apply to all offenses, not just murder. He didn't survive to trial. Ordinance and codes arise from non cop idiots among us who can't or won't drive or build with a modicum of regard for others. Not excusing such, simply pointing out how these become enacted. If all acted with sense and regard, wouldn't life be grand?

@@markozivkovic7409 That's certainly a relevant phenomenon. In my experience, it varies along the usual spectrum. I know cops who have very nice parents, don't even care about enforcing rules and just took the job for the stability and early retirement. Others are hero types who really believe in the rule of law. Some are blatant cowards looking to overcompensate or gain security by joining a gang, and some are abuse victim bully asses. None of them have a philosophical bone in their body, though, I'll tell you that.
