Actually no. Certain demographics of people get treated unfairly by SOME elements of law enforcement. As a 60+ black man living in the U.K., I have been stopped by the police numerous times, sometimes for routine stops, sometimes because I have actually committed a motoring offence (speeding, prohibited turns, minor stuff). I have never been prosecuted or ticketed by them, just warned, and certainly never physically abused. And that is a driving history dating back to the '80s when policing was far less sensitive than it is now. I am not condoning the behaviour in this video, just saying there are good and bad in ALL walks of life.

@@sirpeepsalot1 I wasn’t trying to portray ALL law enforcement as corrupt I live in America and my last couple run ins with the police have been surprisingly pleasant, there were no false charges, no excessive force,no wild assumptions, they weren’t on a power trip or anything but that doesn’t negate All the times I’ve been dealt wrongfully by the police because I somehow LOOK suspicious. I distinctly remember when I was 13 walking home from school a cop jumped out of his patrol car ran and tackled me to the ground swearing that I was a burglary suspect that ran from him the day prior, granted I did look way older for my age but nonetheless I was held for over 6 hours, they wouldn’t let me call my mother knowing I was a minor since they took my school id when they detained me, had my family panicking not knowing where I was at, my mom damn near had a heart attack when she found out I was arrested, had her crying her eyes out in the precinct because they wouldn’t let me go this instance was just the beginning of events that led me to distrust the law only recently had I been introduced to good policing

They were outside for all of 40 seconds, cops claimed they "fit the description of 2 black males checking car doors". When I confronted them, and said how it's a miracle that they can get a 911 call through dispatch and to an officer in less than a minute the story changed. Now they claimed they saw my 1 friend, the son of a Cameroon UN ambassadors staff, "trying to get into that car"-my car-and I "should be great full that they stopped and checked it out" So I should be great full that 2 buddies from high school come to visit, and you racially profile them for waiting by my car as were getting ready to go out?

I've been pulled over for "driving while black" more than once in my life! One time, it happened in my own driveway. A police officer followed me for miles as I was on my way home one night. As I signal to turn into my own driveway, he turned the blue lights on and pulled in behind me. I was ordered out of my vehicle, and when the officer saw the size of me, he jumped back, and put his hand on his service weapon! His hand was shaking as he asked, "What are you doing in this neighborhood?" I let him know that it was my house, and tried as calmly as I could to de-escalate the situation. I finally had to ask him if he was about to shoot me in front of my children. They were in the car! What really saved me was my nosy neighbor turning on the front lights and coming outside to see what was going on. When the officer saw that someone was watching, he got into his squad, car backed out of my driveway, and left without so much as an explanation of why he followed me, or why he "pulled me over" in my own driveway!

In this second incident you speak off, Dos Santos was observed by the police driving at 04:00 in the morning on the way into London. He was suspected of using his phone whilst driving and the police attempted a traffic stop for this reason. They indicated for him to stop from behind and their lights can be seen flashing from behind in his front windscreen before they subsequently pulled in front of him. He did not appear to slow down or attempt to stop as can be seen from his Tesla interior camera. Instead he drove around the front- stopped police vehicle ignoring their clear signal to stop and drove a further two miles before stopping, whereupon the police questioned him. He later explained he had two fingers resting by his ear which they could have mistaken for him using his phone. There is no record of them searching his vehicle on this occasion. When you don't stop for the Police you tend to make life harder for yourself, whatever your skin colour. In 2020 he gave the same reasoning for failing to stop, because it wasn't safe to do so, despite Bianca's own phone footage through the rear window showing several spaces to park on both sides of the road as they sped from the police.

I've lived in Germany for a bit over two years now, racism is an international problem. Sure America (where I'm from) is bad but thanks to white imperialism the whole world see us as a threat. The only places we can just be like everyone else are places where at least half the people in the immediate area look like us, otherwise we are always singled out and treated differently. Hating on America is just how people who aren't from here ignore the fact that their home country is no better.

Also, I believe it's more about wanting to be allowed to unfairly profile and search people while the victims and everyone else quietly accept their actions. Sorry, that is not happening anymore. What I would say to those who unfortunately find themselves in this type of situation, by all means protest and complain, even file a complaint. But PLEASE don't do or say anything out of anger (you would have a right to be angry) that would give them something to hold over you. BTW, many of these cops do say and do things to try to provoke you to do something stupid. DON'T FALL FOR IT!

At least in the US, cops face almost no repercussions from their behavior no matter how egregious or even criminal. Police departments protect cops at all costs...they don't bring charges, they allow them to preserve their professional credentials, they allow them to protect their pensions, they allow them to resign/retire when they should be fired. A young black man driving a new Tesla? Must be a gangsta, slinging hoes and pimping rocks. My favourite one of these stories is when UK police stopped black Italian international footballer Mario Balotelli also for the crime of being young, black and driving a very expensive car. When they searched him, he had £5,000 in his pocket (he was going to the store to buy some toys). Demanding to know why he had £5,000 in cash, Balotelli looked at the cops and said "because I am rich!" A tacit fuck you if ever there was one.
