Cops Rescue 23-Year-Old Kidnapped Woman Held Captive in Shed

Ohio cops rescued a 23-year-old woman who was held captive in a shed. Police say Chloe Jones was beaten with a baseball bat and held in the shed for four days before she was rescued. Jones says the accused kidnapper, William Mozingo, offered her a ride home. However, she ended up in the shed. Turns out, she was not his first victim. He was previously convicted in 2017 of kidnapping a woman. Mozingo was arrested and charged for allegedly kidnapping Jones.

You get 10-20 years for armed robbery. It's absolutely shameful that this isn't treated similarly. He's taking everything but her life

Her showing her face is SO BRAVE. I too showed my face after domestic violence with 2 black eyes and broken eye bones. I was told I shouldn't of posted it... Like it wasn't okay for me to tell my story... I did it to try to help others. Just like she wants to do. This is real and we look like this after surviving a horrible ordeal. Seeing her prayers.

When she asked “do you guys have water“ my heart broke for her. She must’ve been so thirsty. So sad glad she’s rescued hopefully she tells more of her story to help save others

18 months? The judge and DA need to be held responsible for further endangering society. Good for Chloe for not blurring her face and good for MacKenzie for speaking out. What strong women! If only our judicial system worked.

Poor girl. I can’t imagine how scared she was, and the trauma that she’ll have. I hope that she can get help

A female girlfriend of a drug dealer who happens to have drugs in her home is jailed for longer than this monster. I am a lawyer and I hate our judicial system. It’s broken.

Lets get it straight. Law enforcement is not "allowing" this guy to keep reoffending! They arrest him and the JUDGES, COURTS and LAW MAKERS determine how long hes locked up!

So glad they rescued her! I used to ride the bus to school and work when I was in high school and I accepted a few ride offers from strangers, I am so thankful nothing happened to me.

My heart goes out to these girls. I suffered abuse in my childhood and teen years and my abuser still walks free to this day. No principal said anything when I came to school with my eyes swollen shut. The feeling that no one is there to help you is the loneliest feeling. Keep your eyes out for abused people and especially children. If you see something say something. I hope this man is brought to justice.

This is not her fault but PLEASE do not ever accept a ride from anyone you don’t trust. People have NOTHING to lose anymore and no public place is safe. Be vigilant and aware of your surroundings.
