10:45 is an exact example of why black officers and good officers that understand the community are important. He took the time to speak to them respectfully and not ignore them or bring hostility towards them. A guy like Officer Mike Goosby just got it. He's wasn't swayed by rhetoric, identity politics or trying to prove himself or his "hood Blackness" just because he was Black cop from the hood himself. It's a God blessed miracle he was able to emerge from that environment with a level head and a strong enough will to make it out the hood and succeed. Hats off to him!
