Excellent video! Just a small correction: at 30:19 and following, “tuning” is not the correct translation for “Intonierung,” which should instead be “voicing” (“If someone wants to learn voicing...”).

To MolnarPohdap : You beat me to it! No, it does not take 10 years practice to 'tune' and organ on your own. Voicing (and regulating, which he did not go into) is another matter, however. I entirely agree with his statement that the material of the pipe is irrelevant, as long as it is not too thin. I have made wooden pipes from mdf, and some people scoff at this, thinking that mdf is a cheap material, so the resulting pipes must be of poor quality. This is not the case, though working with mdf has its difficulties, as well as its advantages. Notice the way in which he does not put the end of the pipe in his mouth, but rather blows into his hand, as it is wrapped around the foot.. I cringe, when I see people putting the end of the pipe in their mouths. An excellent, all-round, video.
