so I first watched your color management in 2022, but it didn't have the Z9 camera, so I used some of your settings and other adjustments and applied to all with some tweaking. In the same project I have 4 different timelines and when I choose a timeline to get the local color grade, it doesn't list that timeline, only 2 of the others without the color management. It doesn't matter which one I'm in, I don't get the choice. to get a clip. So I can't proceed further.

This method does the job, but it seems to be a linked node. I'm afraid that If I further edit the node on the new project it will also affect the reference project. but not every time I want to change the grade on both sides. is there a trick to prevent the node from updating on both sides? thank you very much.

Love it. I have a question. I have a project with two cameras (Sony FS7 slog 2 proper exposure & FS5 underexposed slog2) A & B. B Cam is underexposed log footage and I am planning to use Multicam sync to edit the different cameras. How would you do this on color correcting Log footage for Multicam to get a match before the edit, or is there a better way to sync clips for narrative Multicam work and match them?

@brightrockmedia6 жыл бұрын
Nope, the power window and curves node is not copying. Ideas?
@kjvisual75 жыл бұрын
This is exactly what I need. So efficient! Now I can maintain a library of "grades". Each grade can be complex and I won't have to start from scratch each time. I wish I could label nodes just like in Fusion.
@nikolaykolev51436 жыл бұрын
I’m just curious, what happens in a scenario where let’s say 15 videos (projects) are taking the grades from the same one timeline. If I then change that grade on the initial timeline, will all the other ones update as well? Or..this feature just “copies” the grades by duplicating them, not by referencing them.
@Lensbreak6 жыл бұрын
How to copy the grade made on the TIMELINE and not the grade from single clips ??
@Lensbreak6 жыл бұрын
Just found it out: Select a random clip in the colortrace window as described in the video and paste it to any of your videos in the new timeline. the timeline grading will automatically also be copied :)

Cant you just do the same thing with Grab Still? You can bring them in from other projects too...
@CaseyFaris7 жыл бұрын
+Cos Andreas yeah you can, but its annoying to make a ton of stills, also i think the tracking doesnt come over in stills... although they may have changed that.
@cosandreas94147 жыл бұрын
Casey Faris No I don’t believe stills will copy across tracking info
@cosandreas94147 жыл бұрын
If you right click in your gallery window you can see an option for apply grade using keyframe timecode or start time. I've tried it and it does copy keyframes from still. FYI. I still may be getting confused here so excuse my ignorance! Edit: Sorry me being a dumb dumb again. Forgot you said TRACKING data... still doesn't copy tracking..
