I hate Mae. She says she loved Olive, yet she was willing to hurt her by getting rid of her cats. I wish Olive found out what Mae did and shut her away. Mae's actions cause both Olive and Dawn's life to be miserable.

This game was tear droppingly beautiful. I was nervous during the fight button sequence. I felt like I related to this cat alot and I loved the ending.

Poor “Dawn.” 54:17 Both the original and the second. 7:02 At first, she didn’t want anything to do with Olive. 1:22:59 But at her most vulnerable, she desperately calls out to Olive. (Who didn’t recognize her, because her collar was taken off) 1:28:48 And after all that, “Dawn” still isn’t let back inside. 1:31:21 “Dawn” trying desperately to tell Olive that she did love her. 1:35:56 Oh no… 1:38:32 So, she does recognize her as the same cat. But instead, she abandoned the second Dawn! 💔 1:49:10 And then she fell in with the wrong crowd. 2:01:34 Amazing how cats can find their way back, like in some stories. 2:04:39 I can’t watch this part… 2:05:54 Hey kid! How ungrateful can you be to your parents? Not everyone is lucky to have a cat for a Christmas present! 2:07:12 “Home is where you’re needed most.” Wise words… 2:07:16 GET OUT OF THE WAY!!! 2:07:45 Oh man. Who the hell abandons a _domesticated_ animal, let alone a cat, in an outdoor environment? These things don't know how to take care of themselves! They've been taken care of by others practically their whole lives, and you expect them to suddenly be capable of fending for themselves? Olive and Mae are careless to assume either Dawn 1 or Dawn 2 were capable of living on their own. It'd have been a miracle if Dawn 2 didn't die after Olive abandoned them. Yes, they wander, but they always come back. At best, they'd catch themselves a snack. At worst, killed by a predators they're unfamiliar with.

This was such a good game! I wasn’t sure what to expect. The way the story progressed surprised me and that kept me interested the entire time. Also I really like the art style of this game and the music. Thanks for playing another great game!

Thank you for plaing through this game so I could see if I would be up for it. Sadly, it's a bit too dark for me, SPOILER especially when Olive left "Dawn" for dead in the forest - after everything the poor cat went through. It hurts my soul seeing how unkind some people can be.

Everybody is deeply flawed in this game. I think the lesson goes around US learning to forgive the characters for their imperfections.

I don’t think so. She made a commitment so I’m 100% not happy with that. I mean I get people are flawed but did she even learn from her mistakes? I don’t think so.

@@bituinl in the end her mistake was inconsequential, Dawn returned to her. Olive does not need to learn new tricks, she's going to die soon due to her emphysema and that was made obvious in the game. So I still maintain that it is about us forgiving the very flawed humans.

nah. Just because you’re old and about to die doesn’t mean you can’t learn from your mistakes.

@@bituinl of course it doesn't. But you are looking at the wrong person. You are looking at the fictional character of the story. Look at the mirror. See that person there? It's that person that needs to learn to forgive. And people in miserable situations are sometimes eligible for that forgiveness.

I will not be normal for a week, Im crying my eyeballs out. IM SERIOUS, this is the most Emotional Game ive ever seen, Ive been a gamer for 8 years and i cannot deny. Theres such a Heartwarming, Wholesome story that took a sad turn.

In game a person throws out a cat. And then another drops them off into the woods. Well, that's like real life. Humans can be dumb. Your animals can not take care of themselves in the wild. They didn't have wild animal parents to show them how to hunt and hide. Wish I could slap Mae in game, and Olive got a lecture for her dumbness. If you know anybody that thinks it's smart to throw their animals out, or drop them off in the woods, watch the movie The Pack from the 1970s. Enjoy the movie, and remember to not abandon your animals.

Oh my fucking god, thank good the ending was a good one, i was like ready to be depress for a week, the same happen when i saw Stray xD oh my god, i swear i feel so bad for Olive, poor old woman, i cry bad for her, i hope she can still kick a few years before she goes to a better place, i don't hate Mae, don't get me wrong, it was awfull how she kick out Dawn and Olive have to make a difficult choice and feel bad about it but also Mae didn't want her mother to suffer and despise having the idea of finish her pain, she endure the pain as her mother did, i can respect that, also, i don't want any animal to feel lonely so i am glad we could make peace, being a stray cat is awfull, thankfully i can have two cats inside my home and two others cats in my rooftop, those are homeless cats but they are good cats, dirty but good, they never leave my rooftop since i feed them, but that's okey, i want to take care of them with my family, i hope they endure enought to feel at home until the very end, my rooftop is pretty nice, there is a good sun to take, and it's pretty big so those cats can relax and have a sacred place, also they have shelter there if there is a rain or a storm just hope they don't fight with other cats passing by and remain friendly, the two get along well n.n Hope everyone was strong in this game and remember to treat their pets well

I watched this all and i didnt like this game which made me sad because i do like the cats and the story. I didnt like the nature commenter at all, the ending was still sad, how would a cat know complex things but then not know simple things? The same music the whole time. Thanks for the video I'll give a thumbsup, but I'll gladly not buy this game. I like dream sequences but not this frequently, none of the humans were good (who throws cats on the street or in a field instead of a shelter)

I agree the game is also pretty boring to play through, it's just a lot of repeated moments and the pacing is just really slow all together. I get that this game was almost completely made from only 2 people, but it's to expensive for such a short story game where you can't even make any decisions and with boring gameplay. And it doesn't save automatically, my PC bluescreened right at that scene where Olive held "Dawn" in her arms when she dumped her, so pretty late into the game, and when I got back in, the whole progress was gone. That's the reason why I watched this video so that I know how the story ends as I won't play through all that again. I think the nature commenter was a cool idea for the first few minutes, but he did get a bit annoying after a while. The game is cute, but that shouldn't be the only thing that draws me to a game.

crappy "game" walking simulator with extra steps. narrative was manipulative but it's expected. price is a little high for a low quality 2 hour movie. the australian government already paid for it so I don't feel bad that I didnt. the experience over all was a 6/10 , I could have done without playing the game at all. Actually I'm dropping the score down to a 4/10. The game was coded very poorly, 17GB file size, game crashed about 6 times through my playthrough, couldn't load the game at one time. Game actually overheated my gpu on high settings and had to lower it down, and it can play plenty of games on high settings. undertale was much better at tear jerking.
