So beautiful. Someone didn't want to pay for the surgery to remove a huge tumor and they can fix cherry eye and she would have her sight. A Veterinarian could drain that tumor for her comfort and then remove it with surgery. A dog is not worth $500 to $1000 to help this poor dog. I don't want to say what I spent on a dog that got hit at slow speed not on the road with an idiot high on pills. Just put it this way. 3 weeks at Cornell University companion Animal Hospital. Of the 3 weeks 20 days in the ICU. Yeah a lot but 99% of people would have put her down. Hey She lived through the crash. She lived 3 days at local Veterinarians who I would never ever use again. She was alive and the young girl Veterinarian came out and basically said she is hurt bad. Wanted to put her down before trying to fix her and save her. I told her I needed a minute when the Secretary/ Receptionist said to me make her do the work. So I did but they misdiagnosed her. The head Veterinarian for 3 days made me feel awful for making her suffer in pain. She should be put to sleep I said NO. If she was meant to die she would be dead. I was told she would be Paralyzed in her back legs, she would be incontinent and need skin graphs. Then went to Vets office on Monday with a clean towel and removed her Iv picked her up her ears perked up she saw dad. I got B.S from the Veterinarian about the bill. I said I was taking her to Cornell University companion Animal hospital. Well we get payed before you take your pets. I said I will be back. I didn't have my check book with me or in my car. I always paid with a check so I knew where I spent all my money and save money. Had $20 dollars in my wallet. So the Veterinarian wouldn't mess with me.. I took her 5 hour one way trip to Cornell. I thought if they said they can't help worst that happens is I go home with a dead dog to bury. I was waiting and pacing they took her right in no wait with her. They come back out without the crate I took the top off and took off the cage door. I never crate train my dogs. I like them to be where they want to be. So I thought they were coming with bad news. Instead they had removed the to big solid plastic drains she had in. 3 of them. Then they carefully put her down on the ground and she stood there and then she hobbled 3 or 4 feel to me. The first Veterinarian said about 5% chance to live. Cornell said 95% chance to live they needed $2000 down to start treatment well my friend with me came up witg an idea. So he wrote the check and didn't sign it. They were more concerned about My dog no cash register there just a drawer. It worked and when I kissed my fur daughter and said see you soon get better for dad. I wanted to give her a treat but they said no. I said why? She was going into surgery after x-rays and an MRI. They operated her on her that day to fix her broken pelvis they screwed it back together. The removed so much debris from under her skin because the first vet did not properly flush her wound she had stonedust, sand and Walsinite like I said not hit in the road. Hit on a farm race horse track. Over 500 yards from the road. To get this done taking her to Cornell gave me an extra 10 and half years with her. She lived and loved life.

Who could just dump this this poor little puppy? She is absolutely adorable. I am a huge animal nut. I love my dogs more than a lot of people. I cry and mourn for months when would of my fur children dies. I had 2 dogs for almost 18 years. How can you not be attached deeply with them. I am really careful with my dogs and very protective of them. I don't lose dogs getting hit by cars or other accidents. They have a harness on attached to special leash that has 2 snaps on it. The leash and harness came from the same seller. The harness has safeties on it in case of a buckle breaking it is the most humain dog harness. It doesn't rub them like cheap harnesses. There is 2 places to hook the leash that goes with the harness. It hooks are separate and if a snap was to fail or rip off the harness it's great for hyper breeds that pull. There is nothing to cut off there breathing. Its harness has padding everywhere it touches a dog. Not everyone has to be me but there are proper ways if you can't provide for a pet or you don't want the pet anymore. You can list the dog online or newspapers. You should make sure the pet is going to a real home not for someone looking to sell the pet. Not using the animal for bad things such as dog fighting or anything that could threaten the life span of the pet. Should try to see a friend or family members would want the pet. If not don't be embarrassed to surrender to the closes animal shelter or animal rescue. Dumping it is cruel and an evil thing to do. Let's say it's a dog Up to that point you had provided all the needs of the dog. Food, water and shelter. That's all a dog or cat will need. Yes you have to take the dog outside to goto the bathroom. A litter box for a cat. If you clean litter box everyday it's easy. Neither of them need canned food but if you start them on it they always want it. Don't start them on canned food if your not prepared to feed it that for the next 10 to 18 years. Yes some dogs and cats live that long. They give you so much back company, lap dog, Unconditional Love, protection and more.. So if Dump my 3 year old small dog. What would she do?? She might run a bit but if you take off in your car there gonna stay at that spot waiting for there human.. Dogs can do that for a very long time. She would have to find food. She is a small Jack Russell. She would have to beg for food. Find water. What happens when winter comes and we get a foot of snow or it's 10 below zero. She would need shelter or freeze to death. So if I did that to her that would be cruel and I would be singing her death warrant but what about all the time to her death. She would go through hell. I wouldn't give her up for anything. She is sitting on my lap. Oh and another thing about her. She is very people friendly but if you make a sudden move towards me. She would growl and try to protect me and bite. I never taught her that. My other 2 dogs who lived almost 18 years. They never tried to bite anyone. They were so friendly they use to walk up to people in the park wag her tail ears up. Most people reached out and petted her.. They usually gave them something to eat.. We went to a park where people were camping swimming and my dogs were safe. They would wander a little bit but never over 50 feet from me. They knew to come and if I called 1 that dog came the other dog was doing its thing until called. They were not show dogs and they weren't breeding dogs. Both fixed at 10 months and 11 months. They were companion dogs. Actually one had a uniform on that allowed her to goto lots of places they can't go into as much as a dog that can predict a seizure or stroke. She was an emotional support dog. Yes she would sit with me at Texas Roadhouse and I ordered for both of us. I had to cut up her steak and Carrots. She sat next to me and I would feed her a piece at a time. She actually chewed her food. Some people didn't like it. She was a 14 to 15 pound Jack Russell. If she needed to goto the bathroom she would put her paw on my hand look into my eyes a tiny whine then we went outside. They knew commands like come to me. Calm down, then the most essential command. I would say or yell get down and they would stop and lay on there bellies. That was if they got near a road or near anything unsafe. That's why the lived so long. They stayed out of Danger, I was always outside with them. They can't tell me Love doesn't make them live longer. There missed everyday..

the swelling belly is called hematoma, it can be caused from starvation or abuse. the red eye is called cherry eye usually caused from trauma (ie, someone punching or kicking the dog) 😢😢

She has cherry eye easy quick surgery can fix and that's a tumor the black means it's necrotic ( blood not feeding into it) so hopefully can be removed whole and not leave more spreading inside. ...We found one like this (the dragging tumor was bigger then his head.) He did fine and was adopted.
