Hi I'm interested in scratch building one of these with Model B power. There don't seem to be too many around.Looks amazing. I was wondering how she flies sometimes these old designs don't fly well .Could you tell me a bit about the flying experience. Trying to get as much info together before spending a lot of money. Thanks

Hi - nice video! My father owned a Corben Super Ace in 1940/41 and I have been doing research on them. His was built by Bill and his F.L. Stolzer in 1935 and was featured in the November 1937 issue of Popular Aviation magazine. Unfortunately the plane burned in early 1941 when one of the longerons was being welded after being damaged on landing. Can you provide a little background on this NX17288? The records indicate that it was originally built back in the 1970s and was certified air worthy in 1984. Is this a "rebuild" of that plane? Not too many Super Aces around these days. Glad to see this beautiful plane in flight!

I have to get to the museum there. Would love to see this fly! Any plans to bring it to Oshkosh in 2018? (Or were you down by the vintage barn this year and I missed it?)

Fantastic stuff! I'm starting to get serious about building a replica of a Super Ace myself. Would you be able to share or connect me to someone that has more information on this project? Thanks!
