Corbin’s voice is already really great, but whoever mixed/mastered this knows what they’re doing. This song sounds so crisp and polished, and it really highlights just how good and raw Corbin’s singing is.

Fuck I love how at 2:22 when he first says "going north" and he is taking a drag from his cigarette, the audio matches up perfectly and it sounds like he is actually taking a drag of a smoke in the recording itself. Also with the piano near the end matching up perfectly with the gunshots in the video, so satisfying. Beautiful cinematography for a beautiful song.

This song only reminds me that this world is broke, I love you all and I'll give it my best but I'm fucking up due to the pain. Please give a helpful hand to those who don't expect it and make this world a better place one act at a time.

you're not fucking up due to the pain, you're fucking up because you don't know how to deal with the pain. stop running.

@bowen s I’m not sure you know this person’s situation enough to be that damn naive with your assumptions. Chill out.

I love how he's by himself. If there was anyone else with him in the video it would not fit. This is the sound of loneliness. This is the look of it. But, it's not the bad kind of loneliness. This is the type of loneliness that you revel in. It makes you powerful.

Glad I stumbled onto a Spooky video so many years ago. Had no idea I'd be listening to his music for most of my 20s but I'm glad I found it. Hope all is well, thanks for the albums! They got me through some rough times.

Breaks my heart that hes not that big on music anymore. Spooky black without u has always held a special place in my heart and always will. Im happy that Corbin is actually in tune with himself though its cool to see the transition.

Is it really that hard to get behind? The thought of you being mine? I Drive through the night to come see you I know I'm just a memory Something's pulling and I know it's real Who knows how long we got left? I'm building us a bunker, babe When the fire comes I'll keep us safe Be the last two people on Earth, oh Now I'm prayin' to any of the gods I'm not sleeping 'til my breathing stops Getting fucked up in my car somewhere, I'm going, going North I'm going, going North, Where the 61 touches the waterline They can look for us but they'll never find you We're too deep in the green of spruce, hey Watching movies on a 6 inch screen No, this bitch don't take DVDs Shit was broke, wouldn't eject I got speakers if you wanna rave Some records that I'd like to play Make this house our heaven on Earth You can leave the city, quit your job You're the only one I want Cooped up in the middle of nowhere
