They should stop shipping the gold pan (though it's a good perk) and instead ship that small bag either wrapped in plastic or in a ziplock bag and ship in a sturdy USPS Small Flat Rate Box. Those things are strong and like $7 bucks for shipping. Free tracking and Priority service. Easy and familiar to them, easy to sort in the truck. Everyone has a good day. USPS even gives you stacks of the boxes for free if you're a business that needs them and use them regularly. It's a shame that the extra shipping is required when they could charge like 8 bucks for shipping and get a free sturdy box. That little bit of bubble wrap that they included with that huge box could have easily held it tightly in place in the Small Flat Rate Box and that thing wouldn't move at all. Thank You for making these videos. I love gold prospecting and panning videos, but live in Atlanta, Georgia where we don't have gold in the immediate area. Dahlonega, Georgia is a good distance North of us by about 70 miles, but I have medical issues that don't permit me to drive. They also cause full-body heightened sensations, so watching your videos is very relaxing to me (basically a form of ASMR x 10) even just watching someone pan gold. I can be in a grocery store and see someone flipping through a magazine and get something similar. I hope to eventually have property up near Dahlonega somewhere where I can pan gold and mail it off to other companies to sell it and use the proceeds for my Roth IRA investments. I've taught myself to be a pretty good stock trader and my medical stuff affects how good of a job I can get pay-wise, but the investing knowledge that I have taught myself will definitely fill the gap in the future. Oh and what's the song during the panning that you use frequently? It's very relaxing.

My husband and I dont live too far from here. From a kid my Dad conditioned me to mining, gold etc. My husband is now interested so we bought a $25 bag of Potato Patch paydirt and it paid off!!! Plenty of gold however!.... I told my husband I was throwing the empty bag away. Between the very short time we panned the bag and the time I threw the EMPTY bag away was maybe a day. I put the gold in a small bag on our kitchen table in a fruit bowl and told my husband where it was to show our prospecting club. He put the small gold bag back in the paydirt bag and I threw the paydirt bag away. Why keep an empty bag!? Well off it went to the dump. The first panned gold we have ever found!!!!! Just to let you know when you get anything packed with anything it goes through tsa and they open and test that it is not drugs. Then they repacked it as best they can to original packed. I'm sure you already know that but I've seen a lot of your videos and it's not the original packaging from the senders problem.
@Klesh2 жыл бұрын
I ship dozens of bags of paydirt every day (my company is kleshgold.com). TSA has no business anywhere near packages within the USA, such as the one in this video. However for international shipments, Customs (not TSA) for whatever country my products are arriving in get checked through Xray and sometimes get pulled for inspection. When a dog goes over the package and not get a "drug hit", they packages are sent through with no problems. Some countries (such as Australia) do not allow any organic material into the country, and they seize and burn or return, so that's why I don't offer shipping to Australia.
