I suggest watching Dean Doherty’s videos on servicing paslodes. Take an extra 15 minutes & break the tool down fully to properly service your gun. There are so many little things you can pick up from watching him work.

He forgot to mention to ensure the split ring gaps to be set opposite each other and that the cleaner be completely dry before applying the oil.

This video is misleading at best. There are two other screws in the nose of the gun that must be loosened after removing the depth gauge nose assembly.
