The thing that i found out is that you can get items from the slimes, I received a ivy ring from a slim just today without killing ivy yet (have found her). Hopefully this is a small drop chance, but it was 750-900 blocks deep when this dropped

Absolutely! They will drop the Ivy rings & Remedaisy necklaces as well, but I don't think they'll drop the sickle, harness, or pants.

Sprint dashing UNDER her is the safest way to fight her, much like Glurch.

I think as long as you're avoiding her smash attack, you're pretty safe. Dashing under her back & forth for some might not be that easy.

@@OriginalRyan sprinting with slime immunity is what you want. Fish in the clay caves and you can get fish that will give you slime immunity for a significant amount of time.

Only that it's a rumor! Just because it's in the "game files" doesn't mean it'll come to the game. However, due to the interest & excitement over the insect, I wouldn't be surprised to see it introduced sooner rather than later.
