Duke Fishron is my favorite boss to fight. It's a steep learning curve but once you get the patterns down it's so satisfying to play. Thematically and aesthetically, my favorite is the Wall of Flesh. Such an amazing concept and experience, although the sprite could use some updating imo.

I was mainly a mobile player in the 1.2 era years ago. I can just remember how much talk there was about Ocram and how frustrated my brother and I were every time we fought Lepus b/c he always took over our world. I think we all miss the old days.

S tier for me (in order) would be 1: Empress of Light. Perfect. Love fighting her. 2: Lunatic Cultist. Love all of the attacks, fairly easy for the stage of the game but still very fun. 3: Plantera: Love the concept of grappling onto blocks to push her towards you. Great design and extremely fun.

My favorite boss is Plantera as when I fought her for the first time, I didn't build an arena and it was just so cool moving trough the jungles caves while giant plant monster is behind you. I didn't win it that way, because it would be impossible for a beginner, but after that I built an arena that has teleporters on both sides and it got super suspenseful as she entered her second phase and because I built the arena bit too small I had to constantly try to hit the leaver to teleport so I don't die from her and try to shoot as much bullets into her as possible. Probably my favorite boss experience ever.

@@shaggyleaf when I first played terraria, me and my brothers found a suspicious looking eye when we were looting the dungeon (Yeah, it's really weird we killed skeletron first but not have fought EoC) So when its desc. said Summons the eye of cthulu, I thought it was a pet. All four of us were wondering why it was killing them and I was there telling EoC to stop lmao. It took us 2 mins into the fight to realize it was a boss monster and not a pet. The disappointment I felt after learning it wasn't a big cool eye pet was huge.

i like queen slime , it's hallowed hook's teleportation is a great compensation for the rod of discord to avoid moon lord's laser , as for me , a mobile terraria player , it's impossible to do AFK farming , even if you allow the game to continue even while in the menu is openned, i tried it , and left my device to charge , i didn't close terraria , i closed the device as the menu window automatically appear after closing the mobile device without leaving the game , and when it charged , i checked the game , and nothing changed , it was the same time on the clock next to my farm that i placed to see if farming is possible on a mobile device , so this is why i fight queen slime at arround golem and the pillars , because i don't need teleportation in the mech boss fights

skeletron is easier than king slime for me , thanks to a youtuber that i forgot it's name in a video called '' how to cheese every boss in terraria '' so i make minecart track cercle and both skeletron and skeletron prime can't do anything and you can shoot them while moving , and i love minecart tracks i use them in cheesing most of the bosses , like the wall of flesh , i make a zig-zag like track to avoid the lasers instead of a straight one ( i invented the zig-zag like the wall of flesh cheese train ), and i usually make a minecart track arround the world for easy movement before the mechanic and placing teleporters arround the world , so i just collect some stars for the star cannon and shred the destroyer to avoid the probes and the big lasers , as well as the small ones by riding the minecart , and i call the minecart tracks that are used for cheesing as '' cheese trains '' and every boss has it's own cheese train style , and i invented all of the cheese trains except the skeletron and skeletron prime ones , thanks to that youtuber again

Adding to that, I love how basically the pre-hardmode is designed so well. You are a balanced character fighting bosses that are balanced (cept Queen bee's a bit strong but otherwise ok). The selection you have for gear is a lot smaller and the bosses are designed around that. Wall of Flesh is iconic. EoC is iconic. Skeletron is something we all have fun against cause its one of the last things you do in pre-hardmode. Even going back there after Planterra is killed unless you luck into a Biome key or actually want to farm the drops its pointless to enter places again as you did in pre-hardmode. The mechanical bosses being the "first" hardmode bosses to fight are not balanced as good as they could be, purely I think its because you can fight any 3 of them as your first one, and if you can beat one type you get the drop that gives you an edge on the other 2 instantly. Which makes you unbalanced to fight the 2nd and especially 3rd one. There's just something awesome about Terraria's pre-hardmode :)

I've always seen Queen Bee as one of the easiest bosses. I only recently was able to play 1.3, and quickly became almost as good as beating it in expert mode as normal mode. I've also never used potions until recently, so all of my Queen Bee fights were without buffs.

The thing about the pillars is that they're annoying, and once they're done you'll be glad they're over, but after you've done them over, and over, and over and over again slogging through the pillars to get to the Moon Lord goes from annoying to completely unbearable. My favourite boss is eye of cuthulu not only cause its iconic but also, when i do playthrough, i love when i beat eoc because of the upgrades it gives. Its gives me so much more confidence when doing a playthrough with friends.

Series idea: No arenas, traps, or grappling hooks. Minimalistic buildings and quick progression would prolly make it really challenging.
