I’m so glad someone proved the actual logic behind the terrain generation. I searched for so long and still had a piece left for the bow and key. I was beginning to think I couldn’t take it anymore. IF YOU'RE LOST AND THIS VIDEO IS TOO INTIMIDATING, here's a little rundown of what I did using Ron's guide! I MADE STEPS! I saw a video where they said that the cities were with in 200 tiles from each other. THATS NOT TRUE! My cities were scattered all across the map of the Sunken sea. Another video said that one city was directly straight across from the core. Either North, south, east, or west (depending on where your Sunken Sea is located). FOR MY MAP, one city was only slightly straight North from the core. So this may be inconsistent. ALSO BRING MINING GEAR AND YOUR BOAT!! I WOULD ALSO SUGGEST SETTING UP PORTALS FOR ALL CITIES AND THE VAULT! I followed this guide and with in an hour I was able to find all the necessary items! My luck happened to give me Omoroth and Morpha first so the rest was a little easier when I used Ron's guide! First and foremore, the most important thing you need to do is to use the measurements and using markers. At this point you will have probably found Omoroth. THIS IS THE BIGGEST CLUE! 1. Omoroth is 1100 tiles from the core. I used the "?" marker to draw a radius that lined up with Omoroth and the rest LITERALLY follows. 2. Morpha is 1400 times from the core. So what I did is imagined what 500 tiles would look like. (since omoroth is ~1000 tiles, I was able to use this marker and divide the map in two. Since Morpha is only 300 tiles from Omoroth [1400 tiles minus 1100 tiles], I again imagined what is half of 500 tiles and then used markers to make a radius of where Morpha may be). 3. The vault is only 100 tiles from Omoroth. I didnt use markers to find this, but instead looked inside the radius of Omoroth. 4. City 1 is 1250 tiles away from the core. Or 150 tiles away from Omoroth. You can either draw markers OR looked just outside the radius of Omoroth the same way I did when I looked for the vault. 5. City 2 is 1550 away from the core or 450 tiles away from Omoroth. THATS ALMOST THE SAME AS MORPHA. So use Morpha's radius to look for City 2! 6. City 3 is 1750 away from the core or 200 tiles away from Morpha or 650 tiles away from Omoroth. You can imagine what half of 500 tiles would look like and cut that by two and mark that from where Morpha is. *** MOST CONSISTENT INFO IS that the necessary items are straight in the middle of the city. he arrived at the entrance of a city and literally JUST WENT NORTH OR STRAIGHT from the entrance. Mine the walls straight up and you will find the area where the items are. Hope this helps! Good luck!

The order of the keys and components are correctly paired too as I mentioned in the video. Other guides don't tell you exactly this information. I try to be as accurate as possible. I have been waiting for someone to provide the radial distance. Your research will expedite every single person's pursuit for the Phantom Spark from here on out. Huge salute. This video alone also reduced possible locations of my 2nd city to just 2, and considering that I also already know the radial distance of the 3rd city, getting the bow would be easy. And you keep on delivering. Now I know that it is possible to mine the Forlorn Metropolis city walls with things that we current have. Now I can build rooms and bases with those absolutely beautiful walls.

I was struggling to find this small island to finally insert the admin key and I was ready to give up. But I then found craigins web map viewer that can read save files and show precise rings for all POI. It saved me a lot of time to finally craft that bow 😂

thanks for the info I almost thought I was the exception to the rule for finding that vault room, but I finally found it and it seems the vault can sometimes spawn in the middle of a landmass island without water, cause the vault room was in a island probably if i were to guess a island even bigger that the omoroth boss room it was more or less about 70+ tile x 70+ tiles maybe 80+ from left to right or so, I didnt know that could happen, I thought for the longest time my map generation was glitched but it seems it wasnt just spawned in a unexpected way it was pretty much right in the heart of this big island, so thanks to your info on the core location distance i was able to find it so Thank You ^.^

I forgot to mention the vault also possibly be surrounded by land mass. I actually mentioned in a different video cut or during a stream. At least I pointed out the land mass problem with the entrances to the city in this video.

To find the medium maze, you can use my Amber Larva search method. It works great for finding the mazes. kzbin.info/www/bejne/imKvioaHp5eNaZI You can kill 2 birds with one stone, searching for the Maze and also get the Amber Larva. I've gotten a bunch of Mazes from searching for Amber Larva.

All this is almost virtually a big science. I'm wondering how "the less than average people" could ever solve this to find these damn cities and the corresponding items. Oh! And by the way: When Ron showed us this little vault and this indestructable wall, it reminds me for my new found yesterday. I found a big "island". On my map it looked like a peanut. It had these indestructable walls too. But there was no entrance or so. WHAT DID I FIND THERE?!

I think it would help a lot if they make a set formation for these ruins and the accompanying vault. So once you find one you have an idea of where to find the others. Or have tracking items for points of interest like we have for bosses. Now ppl spend hours trying to find it and even if successful they only have one biome left to use it in. I'm 2 hours in now and I'm already 110% ready to just move on. But I do want that #%$^@ bow. x'D It seems that with some rare items of every tier, it is faster and easier to just travel on and progress to the next tier of craftables. For example my current ranged weapon was a 2% enemy drop. Sometimes the first drop of something has a higher chance, and that helps in single player at least. But why only give the first drop better odds when the game is being made with multiplayer in mind as well? Just seems a bit counter-intuitive to me. Great game (even in EA it's better than a lot of games of this genre already), but loot design may need an overhaul at some point. It just seems too slow for the pace the rest of the game sets. One of the things I would do as the game grows in size is tie more of the rare equipment to new (and old) bosses spread out over the world and increase their drop chance a bit, as well as more PoI's, give more structure to PoI placement to make them easier to locate, etc. Not just going by radius but using set patterns for multi-part PoI's, landmarks that subtly nudge you in the right direction, craftable scanner items, and/or other ways to make finding these more intuitive. Edit: Finally got the bow. ^^ But I did need to use outside sources such as this video and the map viewer, and then with that information constantly check my distance from the core using the in-game map. Without knowing the distance from the core (which you only get from sources outside of the game) it is almost impossible to find the PoI's in a reasonable time frame.

Not sure how you can clear the sunken sea completely as it does go infinitely out. But the vault room is 1000 tiles away from the Core. Have you checked land masses. It's possible the Vault room is actually surrounded by Land and walls. Try using my Amber Larva search pattern technique. That is how I found mine. The correct temples dont always have the goblin statues in front. I found my third with a sunken ship in the 'harbor' at the entrance of what looked the same but with no goblin statues. I spent four extra days boating around because of this video :( Lemme know if you want a screenshot of it to edit your video.

I mentioned it in my video that you won't always get Yodas. I even said some people get 3 ship yards. Also with the new updates. It's possible the Yoda statutes now can get destroyed by mobs.

Useful piece of info would be how many tiles the wall is originally so players who don't want to count pixel by pixel can still have a rough idea of where to look

with the new update and the coordinates cross hair. use the number in the (parenthesis) below the coordinates. that is the radial distance number. (the coordinates are variable/random, but the radial distance is the same as mentioned in the video.)
