Hi! I am looking to buy a testbar since no-one has the pro available new. I am concerned because the retailer I am in touch with sent me photos of the bar and it has a cut on th rubber. They say it is common but this concerned me . Have you experienced this so far ? And If yes, then how long did the bar last with no issues at all ?

Always enjoy your vids. Don’t ride core so not going to get me one or these bars, but did notice someone on kiteforum state they are more expensive than other leading bars, naming no names. That’s a surprise given there’s no innovation here, tweaks but fundamentally it’s a standard kite bar. Great vids though. Happy kiting.

Thanks for watching! You are right - they are probably right up there as the most expensive control bar on the market. I paid $1200 NZD for mine. In saying that - I will use this bar for my 6m XR4 kite all the way up to my 17m XR5 kite. So you could compare this as good value when other brands may require you to purchase 2/3 different bar lengths for different kite sizes. Not the case for every other brand I'm sure. I'm kind of happy about so few changes as the 2s pro bar I still felt is my favourite that I've ridden with. I think it is also still the lightest bar on the market too. I also got 6 months extra guarantee by registering my product online. I guess you buy into brands and when you pay top $ for a bar you dont just expect it to be a good bar but you also want good service to come with that purchase and that's something I can vouch for. Thanks for the feedback - appreciate it! My next video I want to go into a couple of small changes I made that helped me boost higher straight away.

Well worth the money, I switched all my gear from cabrinha to core, only thing I can compare the switch to is when I sold my Audi and bought a Porsche, so happy with all the core products I have

@@vikingh3008 glad you had a good experience. It's pretty much how I feel with my gear. Although about 2 weeks ago my sensor 3 high Y frayed away completely. I believe there is some kind of design fault. Make sure you watch this part on your lines for saftey reasons.

Serious safety issues with the Sensor 3s. Power lines can fray quickly, in just a dozen sessions) preventing the kite from flagging out. Power lines also snap one=ce the outer case has worn. Pleaase check your power line regularly where it slides through the rings. The problem is exacerbated by sand. Forum post with more info on the topic here: kiteforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2408269

Hey Tony! Thanks so much for sharing this! This exact issue has happened with me too. There seems to be a design flaw in this new bar. What I think is making this happen is the swivel mechanism on the new sensor 3 (above chickenloop). I feel that it works great your first few sessions but then the bearings/swivel above your chickenloop (only after a few sessions) begin to stop working as it should. Thus creating the wear and tear on that high Y as your middle lines stop untwisting as they should when drawing the bar in. That's just my thoughts though. I'm actually surprised there has been no announcement from Core regarding this issue yet. I am in correspondence with the retailer and waiting for their solution to this problem.

not an issue with my Sensor 3s bar. I kite drifting sand beaches wet sand pack up but spray wash and then soak the bar system every end of session. I rinse bar in ocean before leaving beach to minimize sand abrasion. Get a 10x power jewelry loop (good for urchin removal too) and take a look at your sandy lines...

Hmm, i like this observation.. thinking of buying my friends used core 3pro bar. I noticed my core 3s bar and his pro bar both had sand in the swivel and doesnt smoothly twist. I was able to use the quick release and spin at the same time and now it swivels mostly smooth.. also, I only weigh about 140lbs so I'm assuming that being a lighter rider and not pushing big airs just yet that wear and tear would probably be less likely in my situation, but will keep you posted about center line fray @lifeofgarrick

Please clear up your audio in future videos. All the noise while setting up your lines. Also don’t need to see you ride around...just cut to the chase. More side by side with the previous bar would be helpful.

Hi, thanks for watching and thanks for the feedback. I like to do my reviews with the product actually being used as it's my point if difference and what I personally would enjoy to see more of. However, I will be sure to add video segments so you can skip to what your most interested next time if you want to get into the chase sooner. 👍

So you call this a honest review ? Give me a break! your 90 % of the video is covering how you set up and and ride ... and then some facts that are covered by few of the industry people. .....

Thanks for watching the video. Appreciate your feedback. I will try my best the next time I create an honest review to be more technical, but that is not really why I'm doing this KZbin channel. LOG - Life of Garrick focuses mainly on the froth of kiteboarding and seeing as though I love boosting and had both devices I thought I'd share my perspective. Hope you find what you're looking for.
