Core Sound OctoMic A-Format to Mach 1 Spatial v B-Format VVOctoEncode Binaural

Was interested in comparing an official Core-Sound B-Format decode of OctoMic recordings versus just taking the 8 channel A-Format recording straight to Mach 1 Spatial via a transcode matrix. To my ears the official encode and decode through B-Format and Core Sound's DSP correction sounds overly-dense and boomy and less-pleasant on headphones perhaps?
