Having played through the campaign with Colin for testing, I'm already writing a custom campaign for this. Core Space is utterly fantastic. So much fun, so dramatic and cinematic. It's a real living, breathing universe.

The thing that has really drawn me into wanting this is Colin's enthusiasm for his game. It really seems like this has been a labour of love with a gamer making a game they want to play than a studio just knocking out game system. I'm loving the fact it seems like such a deep game / campaign system of which I haven't seen since the first Warhammer quest came out. On top of that, I am loving the setup of this game with the terrain, which is a fantastic touch, the one thing I really miss about games is getting terrain with the starter box, even if it is card it is a good starting point for beginners who may not have a lot of scenery, but many companies overlook. (which battle systems makes look fantastic)

Never played a game like this before. Looks interesting, not sure about the character peg things for play. As we have a few elderly who game here, then again it could prove therapy for their manual dexterity. Campaigns are what we run here, not many one shots.

This is a really good looking game and the more i see of it the more i want to play it! OTT full campaign play through has to be a must for the site! I cannot wait to get my hands on that Deluxe Rulebook. Looking forward to having a campaign that covers Battle Systems full terrain line from Station (Cyberpunk) to Ancient Temple (Fantasy Line) to Outpost (Outlands) and maybe even a Backwater Outpost (Shanty Towns). I also have commissioned a Custom Crew, so I will be digging into creating all the skills for them.Has it shipped yet??? ;p

Thank god it’s not another GW release. Don’t mind the skill pegs (should be transparent colour?), but shouldn’t the character have pegs too, not a marker pen?

I agree. Having to use a dry wipe is a real shame given how much love Colin put into all the other components. The cards will deteriorate over time.

I agree, too. Not to mention the markers can get wiped out accidentally. I think it could be solved by using some custom stickers, or something...

I have backed the kick starter to as much as my Hobby allowance will allow, I am looking forward to this game for my gaming group and potentially my Wargaming club as I feel it will satisfy both groups. A chance to win a signed copy of the core book cant be sniffed at. I hope this game goes onto be a major success, I Know I will be playing this game and using the Terrain for a lot more besides.
